I love my new Tama Ergo-Rider. I'm a solo musician but need to sit during performance to use left and right foot pedals. This throne offers swivel, hydraulic cushion and maximum height. 3 for 3 in my book. Thank you Drew Foster and Sweewtwater for a great product at a great price.

I purchased this seat with the hopes of being comfortable. The build quality is excellent, However, it hurt my Tail Bone and Back immediately. found this seat to be one of the hardest I ever tried, very stiff with absolutely no flexibility. Now I've been told I have to pay return shipping back to sweet water, disappointed again….. after all the gear I have purchased from sweet water I did not expect to pay for return shipping...
I'm gonna Buy another Pork Pie they are the most comfortable. Rock N Soc Saddle Seat Hydraulic also very good for over 20 years.

This throne didn't work well for me. The construction is excellent, and the base works perfectly. The problem for me was the design of the seat itself. I couldn't stop sliding forward on this seat. The shape of it is similar to a bike-style throne, but with a shortened front section. The concept is to be more ergonimical, but the result was lack of support. I found I was partially holding myself up with my legs, which is a bad idea for someone trying to play drums. I could see this throne working better for a keyboard player who likes to sit at the front of his/her seat. One side note, I tend to sit with the throne about the same height as my snare. If you like to sit low, this may be a fantastic fit for you. Hope this review is helpful! Drum on!

Comfortable and stable throne. Luxury built to last.

This is a Fantastic throne! And I mean in comfort, sturdiness, and its ability to adjust to any height!

I bought this throne for my church drum kit. Our old throne we got since we had our first drum kit which we got back in 2003 and kept using it till 2016. The rubber feet were pierced by the metal legs, it couldn't be adjusted, rusted inside, it would squeak, the seat wasn't soft at all, and this chair gave me back pain just being on it for a minute. I've played drums for many years all ready and all I can say is that, I NEEDED A NEW THRONE! And it had to be good, and being the HUGE Tama fan I am, I went with this one.

The first seat I received from sweetwater came out mix matched with legs from a different model seat but with the ergo rider seat. After receiving the right model and sending the original back (THANKS SWEETWATER) Ooooooh man, It felt like I was sitting on a cloud!

The ability to adjust to any height, max comfort, and thick feet for stability, this is the throne every drummer has got to get!
