Amazing!!

By Sweetwater Customer on December 14, 2022

These are the best headphones I've ever owned for the money spent. Literally like having some industry standards speakers on your ears.

Thank You Yamaha and Sweetwater!

Having used NS-10's for around 25+ years I can finally make EQ decisions with headphones on.

If you are not a NS-10 user, or down with their unique ability to translate mixes, you will not love these headphones.

I've owned several pairs of other headphones ranging from $99 to $299 and was never comfortable EQ'ing on them. Now I can.

I would not choose these for everyday listening. I like the KRK's, Sony's, Beyer Dynamic's for that. These are fatiguing like the NS-10's, especially at high volume.

I am so happy. If I ever find out they are discontinued, I will be sure to buy a back-up pair ASAP.

Great Solid Headphones

By Tyler Jazz from Harrisburg Pa on January 15, 2020

I love these, they look good, they have a nice flat truth telling sound, and they are comfy. I wear these maybe 6 hours a week and they never give me any pain or problems. They can be loud so watch your volume. They are super durable, I have dropped these and dragged this on the floor so many times as a clumsy person, these are built very well. The removable cable is a huge plus, the bag is plush and nice, although this does come with a screw on 1/4in adapter, you can put on any 1/4th adapter. Now I use these for mixing and mastering, so I have no use for the 1/8 in portion of the cable but it has that as well so it is not just 1/8 to 1/4 so if you are plugging into a computer or cell phone you could do that.

Great studio headphones

Good balance of frequencies. Great physical quality. Comfortable to wear, although not for more than an hour because they make your head sore. Great product for the price. And Sweetwater always has such amazing service. Surprised at how fast stuff gets to me and The extra goodies they throw in. Thank you!

Just OK

You can not wear these for more than 30-60 minutes without your ears getting sore. Sound quality is decent, but I would definitely check out some other headphones before committing to these. I plan on going towards Beyerdynamic after these.
