Great For The Price
I got these from work, I didn't spend a dime. This is an honest review
I am an electric guitarist. So my opinion will be based of that instrument.
First of I am using Neural DSP for my amp, emulating a cab. Guitar going into a D.I. box and then into my interface. Headphones are plugged into the interface.
These headphones sound great. I've compared them to Yamaha's HPH-MT8's, which isn't super fair as those are studio reference headphones, but those sound great, too. The HPH-150B's sound better, though. Cause they're supposed to. They have good bass response, which was a thing I was curious about as they are open backed headphones and I have never used open backed headphones before and assumed they would lose the low end but the driver they use is very good and produces impressive bass for what these headphones are.
Very clear. Not overly bassy or too bright. They perform as advertised and do a great job.
They even work great for listen to music and media.
They are cheaply made. Thin cable and the plastic seem flimsy. I think they spent more money on the audio side of these headphones and these are honestly a steal. You'd have to pay a lot more to get headphones that sound this good. The dynamic range is top notch.
last note. they're a little small. So if you have bigger ears they might not be for you. I have small ears and they feel pretty good.
Incredible headphones
Tried many headphones since first buying this one 3 years ago. No contest. These are still the most amazing headphones...especially at the price that I've bought. Lightweight, on ear and super comfortable. The fullness and clarity of sound with this set is stunning.
Amazing!
I just purchased a CLP-685 and these headphones were suggested.
I can't believe how great the sound is. They fit and feel very comfortable also!!
Highly recommended.
Excellent
Really good head phones. I'm surprised at how good they sound.
Yamaha keyboard replacement headphones
Great replacement for the "basic" headphones that come with the Yamaha portable keyboards.
Nice headphones
Good quality… affordable…great sound!
Great for practice
Comfortable enough to wear for hours. Great sound for its price range.
