Should have bought it sooner!
The upper pull rod in my Tama Classic hi-hat stand was comically long, and this rod was the perfect solution. The included black nut had to be removed so I could use the Classic nut in order for it to fit inside the stand tube, but it works perfectly, looks dramatically better, and allows for more flexible placement of cymbals or whatever else you'd like above your hats. Absolute must-have if your hi-hat stand rod is way too long!

Works with my Ludwig Atlas hi-hat stand. DW 15"pull rod did not work because of it's 7m threads.This pull rod has 6m threads.The shorter length allows me to move my cymbals over the hi-hat instead of behind it (due to the standard long pull-rod).
