Tama HH205 Iron Cobra 200 Hi-hat Stand - Double Braced
Tama HH205 Iron Cobra 200 Hi-hat Stand - Double Braced Reviews
TAMA's HH205 Iron Cobra 200 hi-hat stand gives you traditional pull action feel, snappy response, and performance-ready stability, all at a price that's too good to pass up. Double-braced legs provide heroic stability, even when you start wailing on your hats, but they keep the HH205 nice and light, and they fold up neatly for easy transportation. A 5-way tension adjustment is also mighty handy, allowing you to get the precise feel and response you demand. And with its swivel foot, you can easily setup the TAMA HH205 Iron Cobra 200 hi-hat stand anywhere you need it.

The hi-hat stand gets a workout everyday with no problems. Good investment. Thank-you.
Money well spent!
I had it narrowed down to two high hat stands. I am so glad I chose this one.
I hate to admit it but at first I was confused about how to lower it because the design is slightly different than my other high hat stands. It really is a solid piece of equipment and I am looking forward to playing with it for many years.
Simple, affordable, firm.
I bought it a couple months ago and I love it. I've no issues with the stand. It's simple, handy, firm and really affordable. It has tension adjustment. The only thing, at this point I'd buy a two-legged stand for more comfortable using with double kick pedal. But it's not a hardware fault or something.
Great quality, functionality for the money
This stand has a good bit of heft to it and built like a tank for an intermediate piece of kit. Comes with a nice feature set for this price range and should work out just fine for the practice room or taking out to live performance.
Very sturdy
Very nice quality hi-hats stand. Heavy duty and well made. Would recommend!!!
Its pretty decent
Its decent, it feels good but the clutch could use some work. As a metal drummer I use an open hi-hat alot. But some songs require open and closed play for a 1 minute or so. And after playing that song the hi-hat doesnt chick. I use some boutique 15in hats but nothin heavy, but not really light.

Easy to assemble. Works very well with the Roland V-Drum Hi-Hat.
Iron Cobra hi hat stand does eveything I need it to!
This is a solid, light-weight hi-hat stand, with all the quality you'd expect from the legendary Iron Cobra brand. It has some great features that are usually only found on high-end pro stands. The cymbal tilter works great and is well-made, the tension adjustment mechanism is smooth, and the legs rotate so you can easily place this stand next to your double pedal for easy access. The stand is easy to fold up and it's lighter weight makes it a breeze to transport to gigs or sessions. I wish all my stands were this easy to use and transport.
Great Stand - Get a New Clutch
Hits the sweet spot for me of responsiveness. Definitely not too heavy or flimsy. Would take this one on tour. Definitely going to swap out the clutch for a quick release one though.
Great Hi Hat stand for the price.
Overall good quality and nice feel for a great price.
good
hihat stand does what it should. solid - doesnt move at all
Better than I expected
Great bang for the buck! thanks
Solid
Sturdy, quiet, very flexible, it will last forever.
Super steady
This stand is very steady and fits well with the Roland Td 27kv
One of the Best
I'm excited about this purchase and it's one of the best hi hat stands on the market today. I'm looking forward to obtaining my hi hat cymbals from Pintech.
Solid feel
Super easy to put together. Nice control and response. Huge improvement over my previous stand despite similar cost. Worth every penny.
Great stand for the price
I purchased a new set of drums which included a hi-hat stand that I did not like. I want to use my double-bass pedal which - with my setup - requires a pedal that I can offset with the stand in order to put both 2nd bass pedal and hi-hat pedal side-by-side. This stand allows me to do that. It's durable and easy to put together out of the box. All this at a great price.
Best $... l ever spent
I"ve been playing for many years. I"ve owned many
Brands of HH stands. When, after a gig the upper
Tube was missing.
I just gave in and ordered this stand.
This stand has all the features I required.
You won"t regret the purchase.
Nice lil hat holder...
This hat stand is a great one for the gigging player or an at home drummer like myself. Solid and sturdy and worth the price.
Love It!
One of the best I have ever used. Great price and superb quality! I highly recommend it!
Tama HH205 Cobra hi hat stand
Nice stand.
Had trouble at first putting it together. The bottom cymbal stay was on upside down, I had to remove and replace it. No big deal but at first I could not figure out why things were not going together properly.
I just want to say that I have had good experiences with sweetwater. SO FAR! Lol..... I have used them for some years now and I find them professional and with integrity.
Tama HH205 Iron Cobra 200 Hi-Hat Stand
I like this stand. There are some features on this that could have been better quality but the stand is durable. I could take this out on the road if need be as a back up. I purchased this stand for my kit in my small home practice area. It does the job, the price was fair and it's been reliable.
really good
works really good and have no complaints at all the customers system was top notch
Very good for price
This is the second one of these stands I have. Bought this to use with electronic drum hi-hats, works very well. The tension adjustment works very well with different size and weight standard cymbals. I think, for the price, this stand is well worth it.
Stand
Nice stuff, nicer staff
Iron Cobra 200 Hi-Hat Stand
No complaints on this stand so far. Sturdy construction and simple tension control. I am using this with the Roland VH-11 hats. I would recommend to any other professional drummers.
Great with the TrapKat: HH205; Pro-X HH, + Sample Rack
I'm a Drummer/Lead Singer. Long ago I switched to the TrapKat to get better voice control, without going hoarse every gig. This HH Stand has the height I needed to add the new Alesis Pro-X electric High Hat up above my TrapKat.I like the feel of the High Hat with that massive yet compact 26 piece kit (TrapKat XL). Pro-x HH plugs into Alesis Sample Rack, as does the MIDI from the TrapKat. I now can get the great look and feel crossing over on the HH, while keeping the same compact footprint. It sounds great too. These three pieces are a really great value for the price.
Amazing
I could not believe how amazing this stand is . I have been drumming for 17 years and I love this stand .
