Beast

By Sweetwater Customer on March 7, 2024 Music Background: Professional

The neck is the focal point for me and this one is perfection. The pickups go from screaming to clean with the push of a button. The Floyd works perfectly and had no problems with strings not returning to pitch. Mine is floating and I use 9-46 gauge. I'm going through a dsl cr Marshall 40 watt combo. This guitar may look like it took a beating but it's really put together nicely and the hardware is solid. And it actually comes with a case. Not a hard case but it's lighter and adequate storage and protection for me.

Super strat

Ash body is resonating, jb in the bridge is great for sustaining leads. Metal ,hard rock, blues you'll be covered and you have an area 67 in the neck for the quacks. I like the ease of transition between the two by just pressing in on the volume knob. You can easily clean up by adjusting the volume on either pickup. I'm playing through a marshal dsl 40 watt. Tube amp. The Floyd works perfectly . You can upgrade anything if that's your desire but I don't find it necessary. The guitar is just a beautiful beast / tone machine. The neck is fast and smooth-no hands sticking.I can raise the Floyd or dive bomb and it will stays in tune perfectly. The case is light but offers decent protection and there's plenty or room .to put cord strings or whatever I like it. . Love the upside down headstock and tuners are good. I've had this guitar for a year now and to me it's a keeper and a sleeper. Hopefully this helps.

Review of the Henrik Danhage Limited Edition Signature Super Stock SC-! Pro-Mod White Relic Charvel Guitar

By Todd on October 18, 2022 Music Background: Guitarist and Drummer Mainly Guitar since the 70’s

This is one of the finest Guitars I've ever played!
It does have some weight to it. The Tone which this Guitar produces is Fantastic!
The Seymour Duncan JB- TB in the Bridge can be used for Metal, Hard Rock, Classic Rock & Blues.
The Area 67 in the Neck position has that 60's Strat Bell Like Tone.
The Neck feels incredible! Thinner toward the lower Frets & gradually Thicker as they get Higher up.
I Strongly Urge you to get this Guitar, you'll be glad you did!

Badass Shred Stick

One of the best axes I have ever ever played on! It is one heavy piece of wood. The tone and sustain on this beauty is second to none. Whether it is pushing metal, blues, of both, this axe has a comfortable feel and a sonic boom!

Beautiful guitar!!!

I love this guitar and most charvels

Pros!
The neck is very straight and the relic was nicely done.

I went with the heaviest sweetwater had to offer,
8lbs 2 oz and the darker staining.

The JB is very punchy and well balanced, and the area 67 has that nice strat sound.

Beautiful guitar!!

Cons!
For the price at $

A hardshell case would have been better, but the soft shell case is really nice and better then no case at all.

Should come with stainless steel frets.

It should have had a better inspection done.

It needed a complete setup,

The low E string had fret buzz everywhere caused by bad fret work.

Luckily i'm capable of doing fret work with the right tools.
So since i plan on keeping this shredder i went ahead and installed some stainless steel frets on it and man its like playing on glass compared to the nickel frets!!
Yes I could have sent it back and would have if I couldn't do the job, but I could see how awesome the axe really is and kept it and don't regret it one bit!
That's the only reason why it didn't get 5 stars.

Looks that kill!

By Joseph Covert from Los Angeles, CA on February 3, 2023

I've had this guitar for almost a year now and absolutely love it.

The look of this guitar is the main draw. To me, it is one of the coolest relic jobs I've ever seen on any guitar. Yngwie-inspired axe with a humbucker, a floyd, and an upstock Charvel neck? Yes, please! The body looks killer, but the relic work on the neck is my favorite part. The neck has an almost unfinished feel that is really cool. The neck profile seems different than other charvels...very comfortable, not as shreddy feeling to me, but somewhere between a normal charvel and a Fender strat neck. (Talking back of the neck here, the front fingerboard is the same radius as other Charvels.)

It has a very "acoustic" quality probably owing to the pickup chamber and pick guard. I like it!

The reason I didn't do 5 stars is because of the Floyd Rose 1000. The 1000 Series is far inferior to the German made Floyds. The fine tuners are cheap, rough and sticky. Even the screws that come with 1000 Series are cheap and easily stripped. It also doesn't have the mass of the Original Floyd Rose. Solution? Upgrade to a real Floyd Rose Original!!! Makes a TON of difference. You'll have to relic it yourself *be careful!*), but you will be soooo glad you did. A REAL Floyd Rose makes this guitar perfect. It also gets acoustically louder because the German Floyd's have more mass. It's an essential upgrade for any Floyd Rose guitar IMHO.

The look of this guitar is not for everyone! It seems to generate a lot of strong feelings. But I freakin' LOVE the way it looks, and it's a guitar you don't worry about banging up because how would you even notice? lol.

Big shout out to Jonathan Caruso!

Great guitar, bad components

By Sweetwater Customer on December 12, 2023 Music Background: Touring musician

Firstly… fell in love with this guitar at first glance. Nasty looking beast. Great relics. Roasted kneck!! Very attractive. The neck shape is AMAZING!!! Has to be one of the best necks I have ever owned. Pickups sound great…. A little muddy but great with some EQ. Took a little time to get used to the push pot volume knob for a pickup switch but we got there. The machine heads are garbage!!! Some are smooth to turn and some feel like they are close to seizing up. Might replace them for a better quality part. The Floyd is also sub par… I've owned several FR equipped guitars in the past. This one doesn't return to base pitch when you use it. If you dive bomb it, the bridge returns to a flat position… if you pull up on the bridge, the guitar returns to a sharpe position. This is my biggest complaint. I've changed the springs out to better quality springs. FU Tone springs, I use in all my Rose guitars. That didn't help the issue. I've spent ours researching possible issues, from loose kneck to bad angle of the nut. Either way, a brand new guitar shouldn't have this issue.

Would I buy it again if it got stolen tomorrow??? Probably not… as much as I love the neck… the unpredictable bridge has me scared to gig with this.
