Meinl String Cajon - High Quality Sound & Professional Feel!
As with all of the musical instruments (mostly guitars) that I've purchased in the past 20 years, I ALWAYS get them from the trusted folks at Sweetwater.
I was looking for some kind of percussion instrument that I could learn quickly and could make available in our occasional pick-up jam band sessions. I watched several videos, and based upon a recommendation from a local Florida music teacher, I purchased this Meinl Cajon (on sale, even!)
Anyone who's found themselves tapping out the drum parts to a favorite radio tune on their steering wheel will immediately fall in love with this instrument! Easy to play, a wide range of percussive sounds - just a fun instrument to bring into a jam when the mood hits....thanks Sweetwater - you came through once again!

Great Cajon
I was looking for a cheap-ish Cajon to use at home. I was very surprised with the quality of the Cajon. We have one at our studio that was a lot more expensive, the tone between them is not huge. I would highly recommend.

Love it
I am a worship leader and I was looking to change things up a bit at church. I'm a keyboardist and not a percussionist so this was my first try at any kind of percussion. Due to busyness of life I only spent about 30 minutes on it before actually playing it in church and but it still went really well. It is so easy to learn and play.
I'm extremely pleased with it and it seems to be built very well. I would recommend getting the gig bag because I accidentally chipped the back corner of it when I was taking it out of my vehicle. I also tightened down the strings to have more bass and less snare.
Good price, good sounding
When this thing first arrived I was a tad disappointed. It just seemed a little too plastic-y. However after playing it for a few nights, I was really impressed. I get together with a group of guys and we play a few nights a week around a campfire. My neighbors two streets over can hear it. It just has a really good sound and resonates well. I would definitely recommend it

My son has wanted one for a long time. We got this cajon for Christmas and have been very pleased. Very good deep bass sound.
Great Product!
Bought this for my daughter to add some percussion to their acoustic jam band and she loves it. Lots of sound out of this small box, great snare and bass, lightweight and portable. Also great price so leaves $ for everything else a musician needs!

I picked one of these bad boys up during my recent visit to Sweetwater. My youth group band was in need of a smaller percussion instrument that is easy to transport and can take a little bit of abuse. I'm very impressed with the sound of the instrument thus far. This cajon provides a wide array of sounds and the sounds it produces are very good. This cajon is well worth the money paid for it.
