Perfect so far
Needed a headphone amp that could mount into the built in rack on my studio desk. This was a great price for the features and the build quality is great. Works perfectly.
Great addition to my small studio
Giving the artists their own volume control and having options to hardwire my guitar amp to one output and still have plenty for extra headphones is super useful. Especially in a smaller studio where you record in the control room.
Can you hear me now?
YES! lots of gain and clean sound. Select between 2 stereo sends by simply pushing a button. What a deal!
Behringer 8 ch headphone amp
This is exactly what I needed. Easy to rack and use. I love the headphone out jacks in the rear as well as the front. I am using it in a rack for our bands in-ear-monitoring units and it works perfectly. This seems like a solid, well built unit and I look forward to many years of use.
Sohno Studios upgrades
Exactly what we needed a clear improvement to our old product.
Clear, Simple, Awesome
Easy to use, and sounds great. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Used in a home studio and the folks I've been recording with absolutely love it. Great replacement for my old, hissy headphone amp.
I was lucky to grab an "Open Box/Demo" model and saved some extra cash. The unit was brand new and I didn't notice a fingerprint. Couldn't be more pleased. Thanks Sweetwater!
This is great and easy to use
I was really surprised how easy this was to set up with my soundboard so I can do quite band practices in my basement. I have all my bandmembers plugged in with headphones now. Its great!

Great deal great product
I'm loving the HA8000!
So far the HA8000 is working great. It's simple design and functionality make it the perfect gear for the job.
Awesome buy!
In short this thing does exactly what it says it does, and it does so flawlessly.
Used as a wired IEM distribution beside my Mackie DL32R for live sound. I love that each channel has a headphone output on the front AND on the rear. So whenever we had more than 8 people on stage we just gave them someone else's monitor to share, and the volume was still solid for both running on the same channel. Works well for both mono and stereo signals.
So this plus between 8 and 16 headphone extension cables means quality in-ear monitoring for a ton of folks for cheaper than the price of one wireless system.
Just what I needed
This Behringer HA8000 just simply works. The only reason I gave it a 4.5 is because you need to fine tune to eliminate the "amp noise" coming out of the "phones out" ports. As what I experienced, there was a lot of hissing when turned up past the 3 notch. Finding the sweet spot for the volume levels to headphones was a little time consuming, but all is well now. Another issue on mine, the level meter indicators on channel 6 & 8 don't match to the same levels as the others even set to the same volume level. Very minor issue that I can live with.
To add, I never had faith in Behringer products till I purchased the XR18 a few years ago. From there, I've had been hooked and they are a solid company. Always eager to help when you have to call customer support.
Also, shout out to Dave Snow as always for helping me out with this purchase!
Great but LOTS of hum
I love the features on this unit, but at first it was unusable due to LOUD horrific HUM. I ended up having to lift the ground pin on the AC plug to get rid of it. Any electrician will tell you defeating the ground pin is dangerous as it is there for SAFETY concerns. I don't like doing it, but at least I can use it now. Probably would have been nice to have some type of polarity or ground lift switch.
Clear headphone amp
I have this unit tied to my Studiolive and pushing 6 Aux mixes to headphones.. Clear sound, and plenty of power to the ears.
10 Years and Rolling
I've had this thing for probably over 10 years. This it has done a great job for a long time and for the price you just can't beat it IMO especially if your on a budget. After sitting for a few years and collecting dust the knobs now have that static and uneven pan unless you twist back and forth a lot. This is common with almost anything that has knobs if you don't preserve it properly. This could also be from smoking in the studio. This is one of the reasons studios don't allow smoking if you didn't know that already. But anyways its been great for me hope this helped!
not worth it
from all the channels, only 3 worked. also got a slight white noise.
Too Much Impedance
signal to noise ratio is too high. Too much noise for my liking. Thanks but no thanks.
