DGDG been on for years!
Am sort of shopping for flats since I added another bass with rounds to my toolbox…I would like to see a Drop D or DG set but seriously no complaints. When I do work for friends, I always put Boomers on unless the want to try something specific.
Ehh
They have plenty of warmth but almost no treble. I use them in drop B but I don't care for the high tension of these. I'd say if I was tuned to e standard playing the blues I'd use GHS but I need somewhat bright low tension strings.
