Mojotone Greyhound 12-inch 70-watt 16-ohm Guitar Speaker
Mojotone Greyhound 12-inch 70-watt 16-ohm Guitar Speaker Reviews
Generally speaking, the most sought-after vintage-era guitar amp tones can be split into two categories: British and American. For guitarists seeking the best of both styles, Mojotone’s Greyhound series of speakers precisely dissect the difference between British-style punch and the silky cleans and raw overdrive of stateside speakers. Naturally, this tonal marriage results in a superbly versatile speaker design equally at home in a blackface-style tube amp as it is in a more modern, higher-gain amplifier. Of course, this comes as no surprise: Mojotone tells Sweetwater that the Greyhound series was developed after extensive testing through all manner of both vintage and contemporary amp models.
Mojotone Greyhound
First time trying out a Mojotone speaker. Always a chance considering you can only get so much from watching reviews online. But after plenty of research, felt this would be a speaker I'd enjoy, and I can't complain. All I can say is that for me, it works for what is pleasing to my ears. I don't like sharp/shrill speakers. I prefer something a little smoother. Has great presence and clarity. Paired with a Mojotone BV-30V, and I can't complain one bit.
