Mogami Gold cables...
Go for it and splurge. Quiet as a mouse and you can actually hear a tonal difference between these and regular cables. These are all I use, they take a beating and NEVER let me down. They come with a lifetime replacement guarantee and I've never had to send one back. Shout out to my sales rep Adam Vaughn for talking me through getting the right lengths for my needs. If you thought good cables don't make a difference, just try these...
Really clear sound!
The gold plug ins provide exceptional clarity on the notes, making my mid grade guitar sound more like an high grade instrument and amp! Absolutely worth the little extra price!!!
Overall great cable
Clarity, easy to wrap, doesn't fall out. Upgrade to what I had before for sure.
Mogami
I bought a pair of these back about a month ago so far no issues, very well built, super quality
The best cables
Works and sounds great
Done
Good to go. Mogami convert from here on out.
Terrific product
These things are top notch. Dead silence . Nothing but the sound of your guitar with these . Definitely recommend.
Mogami Cables
I really love my Mogami cable, I had an issue with noise occurring between my pedal board and amp and this cable took care of that issue immediately. Would highly recommend this, it's worth every penny.
A noticeable difference...
If I was gigging, these "may" not be worth it. In my home studio, I really do hear a difference.
Cleaner, clearer, I might say "truer". I can hear the character in my various guitars. With my last cables this wasn't quite as noticeable. As always, thanks to the crew at Sweetwater!
Great cable
Solid cable with a lifetime warranty
mogami gold 18ft instrument cable
all I can say I have spent a lot of money on cables and these ones I noticed right away they were better, no cable noise and built well
highly recommend
Best Cables
My favorite cables !!!!!
Mogami Gold Instrument 18r
This is hands down the best guitar cable I have ever used!!! There is no other sound but music coming out of my amp now. No static or weird sounds like I had from my cheaper cables, buy this you will not regret it, Highly Recommended!!!!!! This cable was recommended on the Guitar World website, 10 best cables...
WOW!! I almost couldn't believe it!!!!
I first plugged in this cable and noticed a difference, not just in the noise floor, but in the overall quality of sound. I didn't quite believe it, so I did a side by side comparison using my recording software. I played a little bit with my old cable, stopped "tape" and then recorded with this one. The difference was palpable. My bass was more full, more present, and just more vibrant overall. I was impressed. I immediately ordered Mogami Gold cables for every link in my chain. I highly recommend this product.
Mogami Gold Instrument R Cable - 18'
Great cables, gets the job done in the studio
works great...
this is my third Mogami Gold cable...I needed a longer one from the pedal board,in front of my mic...to the amp behind me.
Great Cable-Super Quiet
I can't say enough good things about these cables. I play bass and to hear the full frequency response with such low noise that I was amazed. After listening to the sound through this cable I had to spend almost an hour with my bass and wireless system to make it sound half as good. And I don't have a cheap wireless system. Bottom line: I liked these cables so much that I ordered replacement cables for all the cables I have in use in my set up.
Eliminating the weak link...
... is what these cables do. The weakest link in the audio chain will ALWAYS show itself... and ALWAYS at the worst possible time.
These cables use extremely well engineered connectors, high grade cable, and show an exceptional level of craftsmanship. If there's a buzz in the line it's nice to know it's not caused by your cheap cable. Lessen the variables!
There's ALWAYS a price for peace of mind, folks... pay the man and sleep at night.

Great cable
I got the 18 ft Mogami Gold cable to use with my Adamas 12 string, going to a Fishman Artist combo amp to use for small gigs
I was using another high quality cable, but thought I would upscale more, the Mogami is clearer, cleaner lows, sparkling highs from the 12 string.
I haven't used it for a gig yet, but in practicing I can hear the difference. Maybe my audience won't notice, they will only know it sounds great!
I did have to put the tone controls on my Fishman more to the flat side, which is a good thing, guitar sounds more acoustic now. No boosting the treble side to get the sparkle on the high strings.
Cable feels like it will hold up well, very solid ends.
Once again, Sweetwater came through when I asked about the Mogami in comparison to other cables.
Mogami 18 ft cable.
I have had Mogami cables in the past that I still use, but I needed another a little longer. So this is the solution to my situation.
And nobody rocks great service and quick shipping like Sweetwater.
Improve your tone!!!!
Absolutely made a difference in tone and clarity and I wouldn't have never believed it Before I tried it.
I have been using standard music store brand cables since I started playing electric guitar and never thought much of it you spend so much time trying to dial in your tone and the cheap cables you're using are totally cutting out some of the most important frequencies. This investment in good cables what's the best one I've made in a long time.
Mogami WOW
Instrument cables were always end of the food chain. First time I stepped up to Mogami Nick the sales engineer told me plug direct to the amp with the cable I was using and jam a little then do the same with the Mogami cable....... what a supreme tonal quality improvement. Long story short.... re-cabled my rig wit Mogami. Had adjust volumes and eq" throughout. I now hear the true quality of the instruments I paid good money for. One of the best upgrades I"ve made in a very long time!!!!
Top Quality in every department
I have been using Mogami for the past 6 years. I live in a tropical climate where heat, humidity, dust, salt from the ocean in the air, can wreak havoc with all electrical equipment without adequate care and storage in a dry environment.
I started using Mogami Gold 5 years ago and have superb signal, tone and reliability from their products.
As well as being robust and made to exacting standards, I love the light-weight and narrower cable construction.
I would not hesitate to recommend their products, and likewise Sweetwater for their continual professional & friendly service...these guys know what they are doing!
Noiseless!
I had monster cables. Switched to these. no more outside interference or noise!
Nice cables
Very nice cable makes very good connection with no popping or crackling!
Great cable..
I started using these years ago on the recommendation of SW SE Greg Baum. Never had an issue with any of these with instruments or using their speaker cables.
Perfect!
Great cable at a great price! Fast, free delivery and it hooked right up! Thanks!
Go-to Gold
Whenever I need a cable I can rely on right out of the box it is the Mogami Gold. These cables are made to last and deliver performance. I made the mistake of picking up another brand cable... it looked tough and was less cost but ... I got what I paid for ...static and cutting out. I have never had that issue with the mogami gold. You won"t go wrong to spend a few more bucks because it will payoff!
Yes, they're expensive, but ...
they are worth every penny.
top of the line
While I won't be buying more of these, I wanted one to try with acoustic work w/my fishman amp. I'm not a pro musician but this cable is so well made its understandable why this should be the only choice for pros. A noticeable difference in noise compared to lower cost cables.
if your an amateur musician try one for fun. Fairly certain it will outlast me.
Only the best
Everyone knows it, but you don't want to get hooked on Mogami cables due to the price...at least that's where I was before I bought this. I've got to say it is far and away the best cable I've ever had, and I'll definitely be saving up to buy more. No noise, the wires at the ends don't bend a lot so low risk of shorting, and they have an excellent lifetime warranty. Sure you pay a bit more. I think these have every bit as much value as less pricey cables.
Killed the hummmmmmm
I have several cables of different lengths for connecting my Taylor acoustic to an amp. No matter which of my cables I used, I always had a low-level hum. But, this cable has killed the hum. My connection to the amp through this cable is quiet, just like it is supposed to be. It was definitely worth spending the money to get a high quality cable. I am throwing the old cables out and replacing them with more of these.
Mogami Gold cable
These cables are like having a sound hose from your guitar to your amp. They are so much better than the Monster cables I use to use. I don't get any out side interference . Thank you Mogami for making a perfect cable. Buy these cables if you can, they are worth the money people. There is a huge difference between these cables and all others. Pro musician.
Mogami cables
These cables are incredible, much better than my Monster Bass cables . These cables are like having a sound hose that goes from your guitar to your amp. Much stronger signal too and no interference what so ever. They bring out the true sound of your instrument. I ended up selling my Monster Bass cables after I bought just one Mogami cable as I had to compare the two and the winner is Mogami, so I bought more to replace the others I sold.
mogami gold instrument-18R
finally a long cable that has absolutely no noise
Mogami instrument cable
This is a very nice midpriced instrument cable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great value.
Solid as Always
Great instrument cord. I use two of these to run from my pedal board to the effects loop on my amps and they work great. They are much quieter than other cords in terms of letting in outside noise into the signal chain. I replaced Monster cables with these Mogami's and there is no comparison - Mogami is far superior.
Best cable I've ever tried.
I never thought that a cable made that much of a difference in the tone of a guitar/amp, but that was until I tried this cable! It is the quietest/ best sounding cable I have ever played though. If you have an expensive guitar/amp combo, why connect them with a cheap cable? Get a good one, save up for it if you have to. It's well worth it, plus, a lifetime warranty!
Crisp & Clear
Awesome cables!
*Mogami Gold* -You get what you pay for
Mogami Gold has never let me down and I'm very pleased with the the clarity of my pedalboard after switching out all cables with Mogami. A bit pricey, but worth it considering the warranty, as always, backed up by Sweetwater immediate response. Thanks to both companies!
Do You Care?
These cables might seem a bit steep but they are worth the cost. They really do eliminate noise and deliver a very clear signal. The demos in you home studio will clean up nicely and your stage performance will be free of any (cable related) problems. If you care about your hard work, this is the brand.
Well Worth The Money
Mogami makes excellent cables, well constructed, and zero noise (common in less expensive cables). I use the pair to connect my pedal board to my high-end AMP and they work perfect.
Top of the line
Been using Mogami for over 10yrs, you can't compare them to any other !
Mogami guitar cable
This cable has brought noticable clarity to the sound of my guitar. Recently, during worship practice, I heard the individual notes played more clearly and thought it was Danny adjusting the sound board, but realized that the Mogami cable is a clear conduit, helping to release and amplify the actual sound of the instrument. Thanks again for another great product.
Kris
great quality product
finally a cable with NO NOISE, coils easily, is made solidly that i can trust .
Noticeable difference
First thing I noticed is that this cable does get rid of noise caused by movement. The quality is what you would hope for at this price point- the jacks aren't going to slowly come unscrewed and the cable feels sturdy. From now on I plan on buying cables at least this nice.
Mogami Gold 18R instrument cable
High performance cable !
Solid construction and very good noise cancellation .
When performance and dependability count it's worth the investment .
Mogami Gold vs Platinum vs Monster
These are the standard for pro sound. They lock in better than Monster and move around better than the Platinum series. With the warranty you'll have a lifetime of great use from these cables. Thanks Rob
Just ok
While the cable sounds good, it's a little on the thin side. It likes to keep tangling up. I prefer Lava cables because of this.
Mogami Cable
To honest...
It's a nice cable...
but , a bit overpriced
Shorted out after a year
Bought in 3/017, had it fail this weekend at a gig - ground loop hum. $12 cable was fine.
Failed Me
I used to love my Mogami cables. Seemed like high quality cabling with high-end Neutrik connectors. After two years of gentle use - no tripping or ripping out cables, always rolling them up properly for storage - this cable critically and completely failed while I was playing guitar for a multi-platinum selling singer. The actual plug had somehow separated from the housing on the output from my pedalboard - which is completely stationary. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life. I have other cables from a brand I won't mention by name which have survived nearly a decade of constant rehearsing, gigging, and touring, I only wish they still manufactured the specific model I still use to this day.
