Best mic pre I own .
Fuzzy and thick on synths
A bit pricey for a 500 series, but I love my stereo pair. The Thick button bumps back some low end, as some folks say these and the rackmounts drop some lows. I track Moog bass through them a lot. The only gripe is a lack of visual metering, but it's true to the original IMO.
