Great quality, but reliability and repairs is not so great

Music Background: Audio Mastering

I've had one of these since 2019, and have thoroughly enjoyed mastering with it. It's totally solid and functional from a control and ease-of-use point of view. No issues with sound quality, perfect design from a utility and installation perspective. Accurate recall isn't there, but that's a very minor thing. I can honestly suggest this idea is quite perfect!

My only real gripe is that, it's failed twice (one, the front panel buttons stopped working), and another time (M/S processing failed). While the processor seems to be laid out internally quite well, it does rely on some design choices that I find perhaps not quite up to the the quality I'd expect. For example, the faceplate control computer needs better cooling, and many of the components are soldered-on daughter-boards that, over time could decay in connection. Finally, repair times were long in both failures. The second repair took over three months just to be evaluated by a 3rd-party repair shop.
