I needed a solid case to store and transport 36 Sennheiser transmitter packs, and this Gator case does the job perfectly. It fits everything securely with room to spare.
It would easily be 5 stars for me if it were just a bit more shallow — that's purely a personal preference for my specific setup, not a flaw with the case itself. Still highly recommended!"
Good but…
I use this for my Helix Stadium XL. It's for bigger boards than that but I can use the extra space for other accessories so not docking a star for that. I am docking a star for 1 thing, the hinges have a "stop" when you open it 45° and 90°. The 90 is a full stop and the 45 is like something you have to force it open a bit more to get it fully open. I don't like this because I have to use 2 hands to open it past 45° when the case is empty. I really don't see the point in that feature at all. Maybe I'm missing something. Other than that, I really like this case. It's not heavy, the handle is great, the clasps are great and the plastic outsides are rigid. Everything I need.
Great fit for the Headrush Prime
The first order of business was to ensure it exceeded the dimensions of my Headrush Prime. When that was established, I saw that it comes with foam that you can cut away as needed to ensure the unit will fit snugly in the case.
It's working perfectly for the unit although the Gorilla glue I used to glue the foam into place is very stinky.
If you decide on this unit, I want to advise that it's easy to pinch you fingers in the buckles of the case. Use caution.
Outside of that, it's a GREAT case.
