Outstanding stability in this case. My Les Paul Studio fits like a glove, creating stability and protection for my guitar.

Best case I have ever owned.

This case is rock solid. Great latches, strong build. If you are looking for a case for a PRS S2 Singlecut (can't speak to the McCarty 594), I would keep looking. While the guitar technically fits, it is a tight squeeze and the neck is not straight in the case. You have to really squash the lid down and bend around the latch just to the left of the handle to get it to close. I am making it work, thought, because the build quality is so good.

Despite the configurator telling me this would fit a Jackson SC Monarkh and reviews saying the same, it doesn't fit. The neck doesn't fit in the neck and is off at an angle. You can't really adjust it at all because the cut out conforms to the body shape.

I have 3 other gator TSA cases (the non-LP type) and they're great cases. But I'd be leary of buying this case for any guitar but a Les Paul despite what the wizard says. I'm not sure if this fits some monarkhs but mine doesn't fit well as
you can see in the pic the neck isn't at the right angle - but I wouldn't risk it given the cost of the case. Just get the non-LP molded one.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter, and she disposed of the boxes, otherwise it'd be going back.

The case is fine other than the fit. But unfortunately that part is pretty important.

This simply does not fit a PRS McCarty 594 SE properly. I have to push down hard on the case for it to latch properly with the guitar inside of it which leads to an extremely tight fit. Not a secure fit - more like having too many items in your car's trunk and forcing the trunk lid down to close/latch it. I don't keep my guitars on stands so this one now lives in its case with the latches unlocked with just the cover resting against it... should have spent the extra $ on an original PRS case. Oh well, live and learn. Never doing that again.

Feels cheap too. If you press down on the foam a bit harder, you can hear the glue detaching from the cheap plastic. I would not trust an airline employee with this. Bought a an original Fender case for my new Strat for around the same money and have none of these issues.

If you have a Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul, this will likely work just fine for you. This seems to have been designed around that original LP shape. Please advertise this case as such. This will not fit all single cut electric guitars correctly.

Bought this for my Jackson Monarkh SC JS22 and it fits perfectly. Latches are easy to use, and interior feels great. Very confident that this case will protect my guitar.

I love these Les Paul Gator cases. Bought one and liked it so much, that I bought 2 more to protect some of my other guitars! Fair price, and great quality.

I did receive my new case but I'm still waiting on my new guitar to put in it. I buy gator case's because I trust them.

For anyone who's owned a Les Paul, they know that using a gig bag is a literal time bomb waiting to happen. For the price, this GATOR ATA is the best, safest case you will find to protect your new Gibson Les Paul. It even has airline approved latches (although I would make sure I could fit it in the overhead, if it were me). Great fit, great material, relatively light to carry, and very safe if not abused.

This case hugs my Kramer Assault 220 gently, but firmly. There is no movement inside the case when the guitar is in there and the latches are closed. This thing is secure, rugged, and fits like a glove. I could not be happier with it!

The ramp in the body compartment raises the neck too far off the neck rest. So when you close the top it puts a lot of pressure on the neck. Might work for Ephiphone/Gibson, but not a good fit for ESP Eclipse/EC models.

Purchased this for my ESP LTD EC1000T. When I placed guitar into case I noticed that the neck was not fully supported, it was tilting up at the headstock end. I realized that the body tilted and sloped downward. I solved this by folding two 10×6 microfiber towels in half and staggering them to form a flat. This fixed the tilt and the body fit perfectly snug; so snug that I had to replace my Dimarzio quick clip straps to Schaller lock buttons (the clips rest and will damage the top of the guitar) and store my thin strap in the storage compartment. The neck is now fully supported lengthwise by the channel but this channel is not form fitting. There is no contact and ample room for the headstock. The body fits so well/snug that the guitar will not move and when the case is being shut there is a little resistance at the body/bridge upon closing from the padding. Overall after the small modification I feel confident that my guitar is secure and protected. However, my OCD had me expecting/wanting better.

I have a different TSA case by Gator and it works great. Since I needed one for my Les Paul Tribute, this seemed like the obvious choice. My Les Paul fits snugly, however, my ESP/LTD EC-1000 model does not fit at all. So, warning for those of you looking for this as a solution to your EC models.

Fantastic customer service at Sweetwater! This was recommended and it's a great case, very rugged outside and velvety inside to protect the guitar. It was purchased to be able to check it on a plane. Looks like it'll do a great job.

If you have a Gibson Les Paul for playing and not just to have, then this is the case for you.

Perfect fit, great protection, and it looks great. What's not to like?

First thing I have to say is listen to your salesman. I originally was going to by an Epiphone Les Paul Case but I am so glad it wasn't in stock and Delvin Wolf my salesman talked me into The Gator case. Not only is it pretty it is well built.

This case is very durable and protective. Perfect for keeping you Les Paul safe on the road and at the show.The fit is snug, but not too tight. The perfect amount to keep your guitar from moving while in the case. Overall a great case that I highly recommend. Also, a quick shout out to David Hess for always taking care of my instrument needs!

This is an incredibly well made case. Very rigid exterior, heavy padding, and heavy duty locks including a TSA approved lock. I wish all my cases were this well made. I received my case in only a few days.

I bought this case for my 2001 Les Paul Standard. Fit is perfect - snug without being too tight. Case is very well built. I like it so well that I bought the same style case for my D28.

Excellent fit. Latches are very secure. Sturdy case.

Gator case is doing great, haven't caught any gators yet, more a dog GO GATORS!

I bought this to replace the original case for my Lea Paul Custom which had been held together with duct tape for the last 30 years. It fits perfectly. Thank you Kurt Martin for the recommendation, and thank you Sweetwater for the fast delivery and excellent service.

This is without question the best gigging LP case that I have purchased !
The fit is wonderful... the case is well padded and the latches are secure and easy !!!

What else could I ask for............

Great case, don"t get me wrong - but maybe the description for the item could include that this is designed for right-handed instruments only. This is a 100% form fitting case - meaning there is a section in the case that secured the cutaway portion of the guitar. Can"t wait to (hopefully) get a lefty one!

Bought mine on Musiciansfriend. Interior lining material is massively inferior and too thin. Biggest problem: Despite its claim this is for Les Pauls only. Les Pauls have a deep body and steep neck angle. This means that any thinner/straighter guitar like most modern axes, a PRS for example, will fall too deep into the case and leave the neck sticking out. If you were to shut the case like that it would ruin your guitar. The body would basically be hanging by the neck inside the case.

To make this work for me I had to completely re-line it and pad out the bottom of the case. Be prepared to do a complete custom job to make it work. There are some positives. The latches are really nice and the case material seems pretty tough.

Tried to put my PRS Singlecut in it. Doesn't fit too well. The back/bottom of the body leaves a large gap between the case and the guitar. Would probably fit a Les Paul perfectly.
