Yes

By Chris P. from DRY RIDGE, KY

Great tuner at this price point I don't think you can do better. If you want to sound good, you need a tuner on your board. Don't hesitate on this one.

On Stage Mini tuner

By Steve M. from Rawlins, WY

Seems to be a very nice tuner. Solid and easy to read from standing and easy to use. It's got a place on my board.

Keep moving folks...

By Jeff W. from GAINESVILLE, GA

I've been buying gear many years now, and everything I've purchased works pretty much as advertised... if I'm not satisfied it's just a matter of taste or preference, etc. NOT THIS TUNER!

Very disappointing performance. Slow... and evidently not very accurate. When this tuner says I'm in tune and I'm clearly not, that's a BIG issue.

In the manufacturer's defense, I do have the On Stage A-B switcher and it works just fine. But with the tuner IMO best to spend a bit more and move up to another product. I am ordering the TC Polytone Or Ibanez Big Mini today.

Shout out to my Sweetwater guy Delvin Wolf! He's been my SW POC for quite a while now and customer service has always been great.

Does it’s job in a compact size

By Kyle

What else can I say? It's a nice little tuner pedal that works and is surprisingly easy to read despite the size. I wish I knew it didn't come with a power supply

Great piece on gear

By David W. from Galax, VA

This product is a great piece of gear to add to any pedal board. Love it.

Cheap is cheap

By Rory from Decatur, GA
Music Background: 21 years

I expected better based on the glowing reviews. The tuner is not sensitive enough for the quick glance between songs on a gig…let alone an efficient workflow in the studio. In this case cheap actually means cheap. You are better off spending double for something else.

Save Your Money, Get Something Better

By Jeff from CNY

I was lured with the low price, but the tracking is slower than sin. Outrageously frustrating when playing live.

Constantly all over the place

By Sweetwater Customer

I expected more from an inline tuner with a hardwired incoming connection. I tried using this live during several gigs and it takes too long to register the signal and then is usually sharp. Don't let the price tag fool you. Spend a little more to get a more accurate, faster tuner.

Good Tuner, great customer service.

By Brock from Maine

Got the tuner and the click button felt gritty and the screw heads seemed like they were marred. Called customer service and they got me a new one out in a few days. New pedal works great and in perfect condition, and customer service is top notch. I would recommend this tuner to anyone.

Great for the Price

This does what it is supposed to do. I have not used the Flat control. I find it easy to read and it fits on my smalled board perfectly.

Quality at a great price.

By Kent G. from La Grange, KY
Music Background: Bass player in 80's hair metal cover. Player for over 30 years.

I ordered this for my bass pedalboard. Very small footprint. Works very well for both 4-string and 5-string basses. Super bright display and easy to read. No frills, does exactly what it's intended to do. I would highly recommend for anyone who needs a pedal tuner but doesn't was it taking up too much room. Also, I had no issue getting the pedal to stick to the pedalboard. It comes with a double-sided velcro pad which works perfectly fine.

Needed a tuner for my practice pedal board without spending a ton. Works perfectly

great little tuner for the price

By carlton b. from weaverville, NC

I got this one, as others have, to save space on my pedal board. To answer one question some might have had, this tuner does mute when activated. This was important to me when changing/removing basses. To answer mikes problem about getting the velcro to stick; I first sanded the bottom, which is a layer of silicone rubber, hence the sticking issue, with 240 grit paper and washed it with model airplane dope thinner. After that, no problem.
Thanks to Logan Miller for great customer service!

Works fine so far. I haven't used it outdoors yet. I'm hoping it will be bright enough.

Great Tuner, Especially for the Price

By Douglas B. from CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA

Bought this to have an option to tune my instruments inline, really as a curiosity more than anything as I'm comfortable with my clip-on tuners. I tested this with my Snark SN-1X and SN-2 tuners clipped on. Verdict: this and the the SN-2 lock on fast while the SN-1 is slightly slower but matches.

This works across the spectrum: on my ukuleles, guitar and bass. The display is super easy to see and there's some real heft to this little box. That makes me believe that this will hold up for a long time. Even the power/bypass switch is metal, not plastic, so it feels like it will handle the foot click for a very long life.

The added features are new to me: flat tuning which I investigate to basically mean tuning with a capo up to the fourth fret, and pitch adjustment which I have never used myself, but for those of you who do, it's a feature of this tuner.

If you need to power a pedal tuner by battery then this is not for you as it requires a 9v power adapter. The Sweetwater article #1738515 "Guitar Pedal Power Demystified" was a huge help in clarifying the minimum that I needed for powering my three devices. I am powering this with a Snark SA-2 daisy chain from a Behringer PSU-SB 9v power adapter alongside a couple Behringer pedals.

All in all, a great buy to have an inline tuning option.

Real mini tuner

By Scott S. from Chicago area
Music Background: Casual guitarist

First I did not expect the tuner to be pocket size but it's a good thing for it saves space on my pedal board.
Second it's easy to use once you get the hang of it. It's quick enough to use and tunes accurately and to be honest it's
a bargain for the price. I recommend it over the other more expensive tuners on the market especially if you're
on a budget. It's built very well and the readout is very easy to see and read.

I can't believe this is a problem

By MIke

This tuner works fine, it is a great size but I wouldn't buy it again. Why? Because nothing sticks to the bottom of it and I can't secure it to my pedal board. I've wiped it off with water and alcohol and I can't get any tape to stick to it.

It's a tuner!

By Ryan C. from Connecticut
Music Background: Perpetual beginner, occasional gigger

I needed a new tuner, figured why not give this a shot. The screen is bright and easy to read, it accurately tunes my bass and both my guitars and it's not complicated to use. Not gonna find any surprises or hidden functionality here but it's small, and it's gonna do the job. Definitely recommend.

Didn't work

By John B. from OLD BRIDGE, NJ

The unit i purchased did not power up, and yes i was mindful of the polarity as per instructions. Guess i got a bad apple being that most of the other reviews i read on this product were good. No worries. My sales engineer Codie quickly resolved the issue with one phone call and I'm going with a 2 bundle headstock tuner instead .

It works but it’s not tough

By Joshua
Music Background: Guitar player at a church

I'll start by saying I'm less careful with my pedals than you should be. I added it to a new pedal board that took several reconfigurations to get right. The adhesive hook and loop it comes with does not stick to its rubber bottom. In less than a year, the power Jack has punched in from repeated plugging in and pulling out. The glass of the screen has taken several scratches just from being carried in a gig bag. Also, it's a bit noisy in the signal chain. Those issues aside, you're gonna be able to see it, your instrument will get in tune, and you won't have to do mental gymnastics justifying the cost.

Small but bright

By Chris R. from Kansas City
Music Background: Old bassist

Smaller tuner that doesn't take much space on my board. Yet bright and clear enough to be easily seen. Big graphics. Seems accurate right out of the box. Great design for an economy price. Just the kind of good value that I've been getting from Sweetwater.

Fast, accurate, easy to see

By Doug from Columbus, IN

Fast, accurate, easy to see, and it takes up minimal pedalboard space.

Great Tuner!

By Sweetwater Customer from Los Angeles CA
Music Background: Bass Player

I've used a Boss TU2 and 3 as well as a Korg Pitchblack tuner pedal. This On Stage tuner hangs with the best of them. Its Small, Built well, and is true bypass! If you're looking for a pedal tuner for your board definitely consider this. For only $36 you cant beat it. I must warn though the only thing that since its a mini pedal you can only power with a power supply.
