Love this drive, a li bit noisy, but fast and no problems with transfer rate, will be getting another one verrrry sooon!!!
Rock solid storage for live recording
I use various sizes of GT 062E for recording 32 channels of live recording from my digital console. Every evening (3-4 times a week for the last 3 years) I have used a GT 062E (initially over FireWire, but, more recently, over USB) for flawless storage, Never have a I received an error, never has the drive been unable to handle the amount of data throw at it, never has there been a failure of any type. I currently have 12 of these drives covering all the live work I've done, as well as serving my video needs - when editing and producing my own in house videos for promotion or editing footage provided by clients. I always insist a client purchase a GT062E so they can have all their masters in a stable and reliable place ( I prefer not to store backups on site ) --- amazing how many clients have come in with cut rate solutions, that have more often than not failed, and I have had to hold back from "well.. I told you ... ". In any case, they're great drives that won't let you down. The ONLY negative is the fact there's a fan - so you won't want this in your control room - put it in your isolated closet, or equipment vault..,

When dealing with over a 100,000 loops and samples of sounds plenty of hard drive storage is a most have in my pre-production studio and thats why I brought the Glyph GT 062E with 4 TB of hard drive space and not only did I buy the Glyph GT 062E I also brought the Glyph GPT rack kit which makes the Glypy GT look nice in my rack,and every since I had the Glyph GT 062E I've been having fun just trying to fill it up,and when I close to filling it up all I have to do is call my Sweetwater sales rep Matt Adams because he always up to date with the latest and greatest studio gear rather its hardware or software.
