all-around excellent hauler
I have two of these bags, and don't use them for monitors: one contains my PA power (IECs, extensions, and strips) and the other my PA audio (XLRs and two 8x4x25' snakes). They're a little bigger than milk crates and way classier. (I've standardized on Gator bags, as they seem to strike a good balance between "inspiring confidence that I have my @#%$ together" and "too heavy/bulky for a middle-aged weekend warrior".)
I find the top handles and should strap les than useful; the side handles are where it's at — they're comfortable and perfectly-positioned for carrying the aforementioned cabling, which is probably 30-45lb per bag.
And I'm about to order a third to carry the trigger pads from my electronic drums!
Does what it is designed for!
I use this to carry two Dynaudio LYD5, plus a little UA Apollo interface (in its own small case) and some cables. The bag is quite rugged, and I have no fear for the safety of my gear. The top handles and shoulder strap are fine, but my favorite way to carry this when fully loaded is by the little handles on the upper sides. When I'm not in mobile editing mode, I store other bags and cases in here.
