A very sturdy hook! Make sure to use anchors. I like the mechanism when you place your guitar on the hook. It's like other Hercules stands. Looks good and there's no chance of your guitar falling.
Not a fan
Some how this wall hanger failed to properly release and caused 2 large dents in the neck of my new Gibson Les Paul standard.

These Hercules guitar hangers are fantastic.
If your floor space is limited and you are cluttering up the house with your guitars, go vertical! These Hercules hanger are great. The locking fingers automatically deploy when you put the guitar on the hanger. Safe. Secure. Not going anywhere. This hanger gives you a good standoff distance that puts the guitar well away from the wall so you're not going to get handling damage. Now, if you stumble around drunk all the time, well, you should just keep the guitar in a case locked away in a closet. The head rotates a full 360-degrees, so if you wanted to do something creative, like an angled display, these hangers will do that. I now have a bunch of Hercules GS405B floor stands -which are probably the best floor stand made- that I no longer need...unless I get more guitars.
Outstanding especially considering the cost
These look great and more importantly work great. Don't waste your time trying out the cheapest ones that are available on the market just buy this one.
