I purchased a GS-mini and was looking for a hardshell case to replace the porous gig bag that comes with it. I finally settled on the SKB case designed specifically for this guitar. I don't regret this decision one bit!! The case is pretty much indestructible and very well built! And a big thanks to Trey at Sweetwater for helping me with this decision.

This case safely carried my GA Mini across the world on a cargo pallet. Fits the guitar perfectly. I never ordered from Sweetwater before, but their shipping was fast, and customer service was excellent.

True story: I just returned from traveling with my new Taylor GS mini, which I bought as a travel guitar. Having traveled by air quite a bit with a dreadnought in the past, I bought this SKB flight case to protect it. After being asked to "check it at the gate" at DFW (common occurrence on full flights), I watched from the plane in horror as one mindless baggage handler put the guitar on the belt loader's fender, then walked away; and another, not seeing it, finished loading the rest of the baggage, and then lowered the conveyor machine directly onto the guitar until it was stuck. He had to raise it to remove the guitar. Two hours later, I inspected the guitar upon deboarding; the case was scratched but not dented, and the instrument was unharmed. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!! (I was too shocked to get a video, too bad)

This case was a perfect fit for my tenor parlor guitar. It takes a beating, and keeps my guitar well cushioned and undamaged.

When I recently bought a Taylor GS-Mini I also got the SKB GS Mini hardcase to go with it. This case is absolutely awesome,the guitar fit's perfectly and I love the snap latches along with the TSA approved locks. I highly recommend this case for anyone getting a GS- Mini it will protect your guitar and something as beautiful as the Taylor GS-Mini deserves to be kept in a hard case. Again Sweetwater knocks it out of the park with their service.

I am glad to see that a 3rd person company can make a case that functions as though it was made by/for the guitar maker. The fit is perfect. It looks battle-ready. I bought it for airline travel, so I will soon check it into baggage with no fear of my guitar getting damaged. Great product!

I wanted a hardshell case to fit the Taylor guitar I ordered from Sweetwater. Since Taylor doesn't make a hard shell case to fit a GS Mini Jake Braun suggested this particular one and the guitar fits perfectly. I couldn't be happier. The sales/engineer staff are really the best I have ever dealt with.

Guitar manufacturers admonish us to protect our guitars from the destructive ravages of the two-headed demon "high and low humidity." They--including Taylor Guitars--advise us to keep our guitars safely stored in their hard cases with supplemental humidity devices to safeguard against their warping, cracking and eventual disintegration. But then these same manufacturers market guitars in porous pouches known as "gig bags." I understand the price-point consideration, but it essentially compels conscientious guitar owners to purchase after-market hard cases.

Okay, that's life. I had to get over it (not quite there, yet). When I stopped whining about that topic I found SKB cases. I believe I have purchased three of these over the years, and still own two. They are, metaphorically speaking, "bullet proof. They come with TSA-approved locks and, for those who can willfully suspend panic attacks(not me), are very probably durable enough to be checked with your luggage. The guitar is protectively nestled in a comfy enclosure that rivals any of the big name guitar manufacturer's cases.

I highly recommend these cases to protect your musical instruments.

Although the Taylor Mini GS Bass comes with a very nice gig bag, I live in a very dry climate and like to humidify in the hard cases. This case, advertised as "certified fit" by Sweetwater, does exactly that; fit like a glove!

The case is built very well and the latch and locking mechanisms work perfectly. It's so small that I can't imagine needing the gig bag but am happy to have it in case I want something even lighter to carry locally. If I travel, this SKB case appears to be built to take the road.

Overall I'm very satisfied with this case.

I purchased this case for a Breedlove companion-sized guitar on my Sales Engineer's (Mike Lombardo) recommendation. It's a near-perfect fit. There's a touch of extra space at the lower bout, but it's perfect for my needs (robust living room protection from a highly active nine year-old and a very dry winter). As a bonus, it also fits my Washburn Mini-G Comfort Koa equally well. Mike especially recommended this case over others because of the very secure latching. He was right on about that, and I love how the latches provide good positive feedback when closing them while still being very easy to use. I recommend thisncase highly.

What do you write about a guitar case? Its black, it locks, this is one nice case. Fits the Taylor GS Mini exactly as described.

This SKB case fits my GS Mini guitar like a glove! Not sure how they managed to make it so lightweight as well as sturdy, but my arms certainly appreciate it. Looking forward to travelling with my guitar once the country returns to whatever normal will look like.

I'm very happy with this case for my GS mini. I took this guitar on a cruise with only the soft case and was forced to gate check it by one of the airlines. The case worked surprisingly well, or the baggage people were kind, and my guitar suffered no damage. But, I know that was a lucky break. So, I'm traveling internationally again and didn't want to press my luck. I LOVE the fact that the soft case works as a back pack and I'll still use it domestically. But, internationally? Yea! Don't believe what people tell you about being able to take your guitar on the plane. That may be true in the states, but some gatekeepers in other countries are brutal. Especially if you try to explain that you think you should be able to take your guitar on.

So much better than the gig bag/case that comes with the GS minis. The guitar stays humidified now. SKB is my go to aftermarket case and this does not disappoint.

I argued with myself about whether or not to purchase this hard case for my new Taylor GS mini, as the gig bag is excellent quality and good for most occasions. However, when the airlines forced me to gate check my guitar, I was SO glad I had spent the money. Of course, I did give the baggage handler the "um, you better take care of that" talk, which he patiently endured (not his first tangle with a hypervigilant musician, I'm sure) but my guitar emerged unscathed at my destination. I also love the TSA locks on this case. This case is peace of mind for me as I take my instrument on the road or in the air. Highly recommend!

My sales engineer, Gage Massey, suggested this case to me for my Traveler CL3E guitar. The guitar comes with a gig bag but it's pretty flimsy. I wanted a good case to use on camping trips. The guitar fits the case very well, even though it was designed for the Taylor GS Mini. Although it doesn't fit really snugly, it fits well enough to protect the instrument. There is about a quarter of an inch play all around. Great choice for good protection.

This is a nice case and fits the Ibanez ATV 1 tenor guitar very nicely.

When I bought the guitar, it came with a gig bag. That's fine for some environments. But this 1SKB-GSM is much better protection for outdoor gigs where you are surrounded by concrete and wild running children (or clumsy senior citizens). It's a perfect (snug) fit for my GS-MINI w/Koa wood. It has the added benefit of not being ridiculously heavy to carry, in spite of being quite solid.

My mini fits perfectly into this case. It won't move a bit. The case is strong, but light, and soft inside. I love the TSA locks.

To be honest, I was a bit nervous that the case wouldn't be snug and I'd have to stuff it with old tshirts. Well to my surprise this case couldn't be more perfect for my guitar! This is my sixth item that I've purchased in the past year from Sweetwater and I am beyond satisfied with each and everything I have recieved. This case fits The Taylor GS Mini perfect. High Quality case. Much better than the soft stock case. Looks really nice too. Stock case furr on inside of cases these days are cheap and shed. This one doesn't. I'll start buying SKB cases for all my gear in the future. Can't go wrong here.

I ordered this case from Sweetwater, needing it to arrive quickly of course because at the last minute I wanted to fly with my guitar. The case arrived in 2 days as ordered! It fits the guitar perfectly, is able to lock to airline standards. This is a beautiful safe case for the Taylor GS Mini guitar. I checked it in, it was unlocked for inspection by the airlines but then safely relocked. No scratches to the case and the guitar was happy! Thank-You Sweetwater! Now, find me a case just like it for my new Taylor 612ce 12 fret! The case that the new Taylor 612 came with is not nearly as nice as this one!

We were heading out on a month long road trip and I felt I needed more than the gig bag to protect my GS Mini. We're now back, and the SKB hardshell case did a great job...not a scratch, ding or mark. It's good looking, strong and light weight. Perfect!

Needed a hard shell for my mini-hog as I was heading on short notice to Europe for 9 days and wanted to keep practicing. Bowen @ Sweetwater helped me w/expedited Fedex shipping and it arrived just in time. Works exactly as advertised, the GS Mini fits like a glove, and a little compartment for picks/capo/strap etc. case has nice big heavy duty TSA-compliant fasteners. I had no worries sending it as checked luggage 4 times, each time arrived in perfect condition!

If you have a GS Mini, and do any traveling with it, you NEED to have this case! Fit is perfect, and is very sturdy. Hard to imagine a situation where this case will not protect your GS Mini. The TSA approved lock is a big plus when traveling. Also a great case to store your guitar with a humidifier to maintain a proper humidification. Short of driving your car over it, your GS Mini will be safe in this case. Note this case is designed for a Taylor GS Mini, I would not recommend for other guitars.

Fits my new Taylor bass perfectly. I feel that it will protect my guitar when traveling, which couldn't be said for the gig bag that came with it.

I needed more protection for my new Taylor GS Mini. I call Sweetwater to see if these hardshell cases would fit the bass. The answer was, we are not sure, but we will find out. So, they found a bass and a case and discovered they fit perfectly. It is a very sturdy, well made case. It has enough room inside for extra strings and I can carry my Cooperstand as well. It is comfortable to carry as well. As always, great customer service from Sweetwater and a great product from SKB.

I'm a traveling singer/songwriter doing primarily solo-acoustic concerts all over the country. I've got two GS Mini's that are my main performing guitars. Yes, you read that right! They're awesome guitars, and the sound I'm getting through my Bose ToneMatch and two Bose Compacts is rich and beautiful with these GS's.

I've never been a gig-bag guy when it comes to the road, so I needed great hard shell guitar cases to protect them from all the load-in's and travel stress. I don't fly (too much gear & product) so these cases are constantly on the move, in and out of my van, and often being handled by helpful friends or stage hands. They've performed flawlessly and I've never had to worry about the safety of my GS's. These cases also look great and have proven to be very rugged. I love the latches and the positive click you get when they close. When I hear that, I just know my guitars are safe and nothing's going to come undone. I highly recommend these cases and would encourage anyone with a GS-mini to purchase one!

I have been wanting a hardshell case for my Taylor GS Mini since i purhcased in over a year ago. At that time there were none available. This case is fantastic. It fits like a glove and is very well made. I would highly recommend this case to anyone who owns a Taylor GS Mini guitar.

This case holds up to baggage handlers punishment. The locks are flush and don't pop open like my last case. The TSA lock is secure and safe. It's a super tough case!

Tons of protection, very lightweight, and a great feeling handle. The guitar does seem to sit very slightly tilted in the case until it's shut, with the headstock down and the endpin area up. The case closes on it and straightens it out, not a problem, but since it was specially made for this guitar, it seems odd. Also wish the storage compartment were a bit bigger so I could fit a leather strap in the case. Those small things aside, I love the case and it makes me want to buy the jumbo version for my Guild JF30.

Recently purchased this case for my Koa GS Mini. Guitar fits in case perfectly. Case appears to be very rugged, and I expect it to hold up very well over time. The latches are particularly immpresive. I even prepared a stencil and lightly spray-painted my last name across the top of the case and it looks very cool.

I took a half a star off because there is very little room in the case for anything else. In the gig bag that came with the GS Mini I was able to put two humidifiers, strap, and cleaning cloth in with the guitar, and cables, capos, sound hole cover, chord charts, iPad, etc. in the external pocket. Now I have to carry a separate back pack for most of these items. Not a major problem but just annoying.

I recommend this case very highly. Just be aware of its limitations. Thx!

Very impressed with the case overall: seems sturdy, closes & locks well, plush lining. However, there's no room for a leather strap!

This is a very heavy duty travel case made specifically for the Taylor GS Mini and the guitar fits is like a glove. My only criticism is that you can't stand it on end as the bottom is rounded and doesn't have feet that would allow it to stand. This can be a little cumbersome when you are traveling by air with the case.

I'm a frequent business traveler, and I hate carrying luggage in the airport and fighting for overhead bin space on the plane. I'm usually the last person to board.

This case allows me to check my guitar and grab it at baggage claim. Quick note: most of the airlines will check your guitar as oversized, but be sure to ask. If it's oversized it doesn't go on the standard conveyer belt ride where most luggage damage occurs.

So far, I have checked my GS-Mini in this case on 6 flights. It's holding up fine, and the TSA locks are very convenient. I always lock it when checking it, and TSA opens it and re-locks it about half the time.

All in all, if you're looking to check your guitar and not worry about it, this is a great investment.

The SKB case for my Taylor GSMini looks great... the fit is another story. The GS Mini has a rounded back and this case is flat on the bottom with essentially no padding - it's fuzzy but doesn't give. When the top is closed it pushes down on the guitar's rounded back. The padding, which is only on the top where the strings are, may eventually squish down enough so the lid doesn't do this. Another issue is the fit of the top. To close the latches, which are very nice, I have to twist the top to align it wth the bottom then hold it together before they'll close properly. I understood the SKB was a top quality case but I'm unimpressed. The only reason I keep it is it holds humidity better than the soft case the guitar came with. I bought an Epiphone case from Sweetwater for my Les Paul model and the fit is perfect.
