Taylor GS Mini-e Maple Bass - Natural with Black Pickguard Reviews
Get great tone and comfortable playability with the Taylor GS Mini-e acoustic-electric bass. This compact, small-scale instrument is ultra-comfortable and easy on the fingers. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top with layered figured maple back and sides, the GS Mini-e puts out beautiful acoustic bass tone that runs evenly through the low, mid, and high ranges, sitting beautifully balanced in a mix with other acoustic instruments. A gorgeous hard rock maple neck with West African ebony fingerboard offers incredible playability. And when you’re ready to plug in, onboard ES-B electronics provide stellar amplified acoustic tone.

Very Disappointed
Pros: 1. Plays well when not plugged in. I don't even need to plug it into an amp to practice, it's loud enough acoustically to stick with another acoustic guitar. 2. Short fretboard makes it very easy to play.
Cons: 1. Electronics crapped out within a few months and had to be replaced. 2. Intermittent usefulness live. One gig it's perfect, the next nothing, the next you can hear the E and A strings but not the D or G. Not reliable.
It's a shame because I was SO looking forward to using this as my go-to instrument, but I simply can't count on it to perform when I need it to. I expected more from a Taylor.
