Great Stand
This is exactly what I was looking for in a stand. My band is tough on equipment, and this stand is tough enough to take it, looks great, and doesn't take up too much room on stage. I highly recommend it!!!
Works well, but was difficult to assemble
In the end I am happy with this guitar rack. It looks OK in our living room and feels solid with three guitars on it. But it lost a star because the assembly was difficult, especially the base. I had doubts about the screw placement until the end, when tightening finally did pull everything into place.
Great for small stages
This stand is excellent when there isn't much room on stages for multiple stands. Very sturdy!
Handy little rack
I got this to keep my go to guitars handy in the studio. It seems sturdy enough and fits right in the space I needed. Padded in all the right places. Assembly was a little challenging at times but that can be expected with this kind of thing.
Mine was not well made
I have not had this stand very long. The top bar came loose. I tried to screw it back in but the threaded hole is stripped. Not sure how that happened unless someone else took it apart and stripped it. Is not built that sturdy. I am going to have my brother tack weld it in place. Also some of the screws are square heads that may also work with phillips. and others are just phillips head. That really is another thing that just doesn't make sense. Just use the same screws for all of it.
Stand works kind ok
Set up & assembly is difficult. Now that it is assembled it seems to work for now at least. Not a quality stand.
Skip the middleman and throw your guitar on the ground.
This is it, you've been looking for the worst guitar stand ever made. Well then you have found it. If you have three guitars you want to knock into each other and fall over, then this is the stand for you. Folding is a nice word for collapsible and unsteady.
Utter trash. Nightmare to assemble!
Don't waste your money. Buy something else. Terrible directions/design/quality of parts. It was a nightmare to assemble. I would have been better off making something out of scrap wood and duct tape. Sweetwater should discontinue carrying this trash. Hurts your reputation!
Triple guitar stand
This stand holds my 2 acoustics and 1 fender telecaster perfectly, should have purchased this sooner. Really cleans up my music room.
Poor quality
Assembly was difficult due to difficulty aligning, the rubber feet fell off on first use, and the dividers won't stay on. Very disappointing.
Works fine, but you may run into all kinds of fun putting it together, the reviews here and on amazon are not lying!!
You can see from the attached pics of the holes that QC isn't very observant. The pics are opposite sides of the same holes and were not drilled correctly. The self tapping screws are a pain in the butt and should have been nuts and bolts, 4 of the 8 screws never tightened and feel like they are stripped out of the box. Ironically this thing could never be used ON STAGE, it's wobbly even with everything as tight as can be. It's gonna sit where it is and not get moved, and was not worth the the time and hassle to dis-assemble and return. I would save the $60 and buy a stand with better quality.
Not trustworthy
I just bought this and it came in very fast. It was easy to out together (thats why two stars.) It is a foldable stand and is VERY easy to fold. I put one of my guitars in it and it fell down. There needs to be a different mechanism that holds the guitar in place.
I've decided to just buy regular stands. I guess its a case of you get what you pay for.
Great stand
A little smaller than my old 3 guitar stand. Serves its purpose. Durable and reliable.
Decent
Once assembled it does its job. It was an immense pain to get together, I recommend a power drill to ease those screws in. I kinda of wish it didn't fold, as the ease of it collapsing is a bit of a headache. However it is a inexpensive solution if you are in need of multiple stands.
Awful construction
This stand is a piece of junk! Do not waste your money on it. Poorly designed and cheap parts. Sending it back as it won't line up properly and I am not putting a nice guitar on this cheap stand as I don't trust it not to collapse.
Cheap, not very sturdy or durable.
Assembly requires the user to install self-tapping screws through pipes that are not pre drilled. Stand feels kinda flimsy and I doubt it would hold up to much use on the road. Works ok for sitting in a studio though.
Sturdy rack!
I bought this to accommodate my growing collection of bass guitars and it performs beautifully! The unit is sturdy and construction was a breeze with just a few tools.
Deceiving name, Bad product
Fair warning, this rack is NOT FOLDABLE and that title is highly deceiving. Once built, it is perfectly rigid and fixed with sheet metal self-tapping screws. It is not easy to transport and is not road-friendly. Assembly is definitely required and not particularly easy. Very disappointing product for the price, I returned it immediately.
Utility Stand 10/10
Easy to assemble. Fits 3 solidbody electrics just fine. Utilitarian stuff here, which is exactly what I wanted.
So far so good
Easy to assemble. Very well padded. Holds my guitars great. That's all I was asking for..
Thanks....

Terrible quality
This thing must've been manufactured on a Friday afternoon. You need to assemble this stand and it's as basic as it gets. Not one bolt hole lined up, the parts looked used and the padding even had water stains on it. I literally had to bend pieces to make it work and still had a bad lean to it when I was done. As a side note I'm a heavy machinery mechanic so it wasn't due to my lack of common sense. To sum it up I'd choose a stand at Walmart over this thing and wouldn't pay more than $5 for it.
One thing worth mentioning is I did contact my Sweetwater sales rep and he offered to exchange it for me. After all the work I put into making it work it wasn't worth my time or frustration going through it again so I kept it. If I were Sweetwater I would not sell this product.
Assembly REQUIRED
I was very disappointed to see that this needed to be put together. Not my "thang". This stand is only for my room, not for traveling or gigging, so the folding concept isn't needed. But there's no way to lock it in place once it's up. I have to hope the weight of the guitars will keep it upright. I wish I had known it needed to be assembled - would not have bought it.
DO NOT BUY!
Let me be blunt. I regret buying this rack. The experience of putting this nightmare of a stand together was one of the worst experiences of my life and I have put together a ton of furniture from IKEA. After spending far too long on assembly this thing is not very stable. I hate this thing so much I am in the process of ordering a different stand from a different manufacturer to replace this piece of garbage.
Really disappointing
Holds your guitars
It holds your guitars as stated but the quality is little off. I was expecting a slightly better and more solid construction. Especially the separators at the bottom can't be fixed and they will fall off once in a while.
Not a good stand for transporting to gigs.
I had a difficult time getting the legs to level out and not rock. Finally got them to an acceptable point then started dealing with the dividers. They just pop in AND OUT. With a very light touch they come right out and will soon be lost if you need to transport which is what I bought it for. For a cheapo stand for home use it would e OK but it doesn't work for my situation.
This is a good one.
It's a guitar stand, so it holds guitars. Not much to tell here. :) But, it is a good one at a good price. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the two separating rails don't sit nice and tight once installed. Not that it really matters in the stand's functionality, but combined with the fact that the self-tapping screw holes didn't match up that well with their pre-marked entry points, it just shows that On-Stage should make their manufacturing not seem so hashed out.
All that being said, again the stand works fine, it's at a good price, and I honestly would recommend it if you're looking to buy.
USEFUL ITEM
I'M VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS GUITAR RACK. I WOUD RECOMMENDED.
Hard plastic plugs block assembly screws
Not impressed with quality-control. To assemble one of the parts, I had two options: either remove the plastic end-plugs entirely (leaving a sharp metal edge exposed, not optimal), or get out my electric drill and drill new holes for the screws to go through the hard plastic plugs. I chose to remove the endplugs with a pair of Vise-Grips and put some masking tape on the sharp metal edges so I wouldn't cut myself on the darn thing. What it looks like to me, is that someone in the factory that day substituted hard plastic plugs instead of soft rubber plugs - *if* the plugs had been soft rubber, no drilling would have been required, the screws would have just pushed the rubber inwards far enough to allow assembly.
Great 3 guitar stand
Easy to assemble, sturdy and looks great with my three guitars.
Difficult To Assemble
I received the stand, opened the box, and then here we go. Difficult to assemble. They don't tell you that of course.
Good Deal
It does the job. We use these at school, and they do just fine for both guitar and bass. Some assembly required, but with the instructions it took me about 20 minutes to get it going. The little dividers on the bottom seem to be removable for storage (i.e. they will fall out if not kept horizontal), but since we move them so much we usually just leave them off. I may be getting one for myself in the future. A note about the padding- on the round parts (points of normal contact) it is about 2-3mm of sturdy padding, but the square tubing on the bottom and sides have only about 1mm, sort of like a foam tape. It's definitely enough to prevent denting/scratching.
It's OK but don't Love it
I have a Hercules 5 guitar stand and it's SOOO worth the money. I got this stand for a month tour I'm doing to swap guitars live... Not a great idea. If you're gonna have it seat in your home studio and not move it, I think it does the job. For the road, big No-no! The frame feels cheap too. I guess it does the job but I don't trust it nearly as much as I do my Hercules.
Bad
Difficult to assemble, not sturdy, way too expensive. Worst fifty bucks I ever spent.
