Gator GRR-6L Rolling Rack Case Reviews
Gator is the original case manufacturer to add built-in wheels and pull out handles to the rack mount case. They took the high quality construction and design of their deluxe racks and strategically placed roller blade style wheels and a pull out handle. The best part is that the wheels do not interfere with the universal stack ability of these racks! The pull out handle has a locking mechanism to hold the handle firmly in place when in the extended position. Another example of Gator building user-friendly products at an affordable price!

Great Rolling Rack!
I use the case to hold my audio interfaces. The case is sturdy and is lightweight enough that I can move my precious devices around with ease.
Awesome road case!
I've had many different type of cases for 19" rack mount equipment over the years for my playing gear and my sound and lighting business. I had a 6 space ATA case for my 4 shure wireless mics rig with a 2 space drawer to keep mics, batteries, clip, etc. It was just too heavy to move around so I bought the Gator GRR-6L rolling rack case and what a difference in weight! It's like being in the airport with your rolling suit case! Very sturdy and reliable for transport. Another big hit with Sweetwater! Thanks Ty for all your help and great service over the years! Sweetwater is the best!
Great case!
This case has exceeded my expectations. I knew Gator made great products but this combination of Gator tough on wheels is exceptional!
Gator 6 Rack
Exactly what I ordered! Have used Gator cases for many years, they never disappoint
Great case, but needs TSA approved locks!
This is a great case that is excellent for a touring musician. You can wheel it through an airport like a suitcase and check it in. They need to provide a few more accessories for it, such as mesh plates to cover the empty spot at the bottom and above all, TSA approved locks. One of the best features is the fact you can travel with this case like a suitcase. The handle is terrific and the wheels seem sturdy. But, without TSA locks, you can't check it through with airport security. If you don't lock the front and back covers, you run a serious risk of having the case open up during transport. Otherwise, I would recommend this case to anyone who doesn't want to travel with it on airplanes.
Poor quality latches
The latches on this case broke down before we got to the first gig. Gator does not warranty these cases if you fly with them, which defeats the purpose of a flight case. That said, the wheels are great quality, with good quality bearings. However, with defective latches and low profile wheels, the sides can be easily knocked off just by rolling the case.
very nice
Rack is very good, the wheels are a tad bit small, but assuming you're going to be rolling this across cement, it is very good, a little rough on other surfaces...but in general its a very good rack. I have a 4 space nad a 6 space. the only problem I had was getting my 70 pound SVT2-PRO in the 4 space. The problem was that the holes didnt match up and it was hard keeping the back rail/rack on while i was screwing it on. Might be frustrating at first, but my precious Ampeg is safe and I feel better knowing that =P It would definatly recommend these, especially for people who have bad backs or legs, or maybe just dont want to carry around a 70 pound Ampeg tube head, and would rather roll it.
