Excellent LITTLE guitar

Rather kid-sized but still playable for adults. Well-made, sounds great. Perfect for practice.

Cool little guitar with some work

By Gary Russell from Arizona on November 8, 2020

I bought this guitar as a travel guitar that I wouldn't cry over if it got beat up or damaged. I knew it would need some work to play well mainly because the price doesn't allow them to spend much time building them. The majority of work needed on inexpensive guitars is usually the frets, nut, and tuning keys.
After a quick height adjustment for the action, and setting the intonation it was actually playable with no further upgrades even tuning stability wasn't the best.
The frets were actually better than I expected. They had some fret sprout and sharp edges, but was easily resolved with some micro-mesh pads and a small file.
This would be a great beginner guitar, or for smaller person with smaller hands because the shorter 22" scale length places the frets closer together making them easier to span your fingers across. The neck has a very popular modern C profile which is very comfortable. Not too fat, and not too thin.
For the money I think it is a great deal and would be the perfect choice for a young budding guitarist with smaller hands and shorter arms. For me it makes a nice travel guitar that also allows me to hone my skills at doing repairs and upgrades.
