Bought these 12/2021 and use them for every gig. No rips, no bad zippers. Not hard case but still very protective and it gets me to all my shows scratch and dent free! Highly recommend! Bought the 10,12,13,14,16 and 22 and 14 snare

These are the perfect alternative to hardshell cases which protect the most but are very bulky and heavier. I've only had a short time but I gig alot and so far they hold up nicely

My hard bass-drum case won't fit in my car…I needed something to keep fingerprints, smudges, snow, and rain off my kit (and dust while in storage). Don't toss around…don't bang against hard edges, and these cases will keep your instrument(s) pristine. Just enough padding, functional to the max, and CLEAN looking!

The Gator GP-Standard-100 5-piece bag set is a good soft cover for your drums. They have enough slack in the measurements to permit you to get the drums in there snuggly, but not so tight it drives you mad trying to get it to fit. I've even used the covers for drums that were a bit smaller (a 14" floor tom in the 16" case, etc.) and I felt 'safe' with it. If you load your drums up with the PA, amps, etc., then I would not recommend soft cases. In my particular situation my drums go with me in the back of my vehicle, and they are sort of snuggled together in their soft cases, fitting like a Tetris game with musical instruments. Nothing heavy or sharp in there with them. If I used hard cases, I don't think I would be able to fit all the pieces. For me, soft cases were the right answer.
Soft cases like these are good for storing drums in your music room, keeping dust off of them and preventing any scratches, too. When not in use, they don't take up much space and can be compacted together and stuffed away some place out of sight.

Gator Bags are well made however the problem with all these Bags is that No Drummers are involved with the design!! There's never enough room for the larger Tom Mounts, Legs & bass Spikes used on modern Drums!!
This puts excess strain on bag while we get to wrestle putting these way too small / tight cases on after a gig.
This makes them all worthless. It's time all these manufacturers fix this & it would be great if Sweetwater & other retailers supported this change with us.

The price and the protection are just right for my local transport needs. nice zippers, material, padding, and handles. They nest very nicely for storage in between use.

I was concerned that my snare was too deep for the set. the Sweetwater rep looked at creating a custom set, or adding a deeper snare bag, or just seeing first if the snare bag in the set had enough slush for my snare and coming back around if need be. Happily, it easily fits my 6.5" snare!

Theses cases are very well padded and set the standard for soft drum cases. I trust these cases to fully protect my new DW DRUMS. These cases seem very durable and reliable!

I replaced a set I bought about 15 years ago. And without breaking the bank these are heavy duty enough for novice or pro drummers. My rep Parker also found a bag for my 10" and my 14" floor tom to complete my set. Sweetwater customer service second to NONE!!

These cases fit my drums snugly and offer a high degree of protection. Granted, my last drum bags were old Beatos that looked like someone hung them up and a BB gun firing squad took aim and shot them all to pieces. The material has a smooth, soft interior and a tough, quasi-military-grade exterior that is tear-resistant. I also love that the bags, especially the kick drum bag, have carrying straps. I have to load my drums in and out of a two-story building so this is especially helpful when I'm having to carry them up and down the steps. When I first ordered them, I received two 12" bags and not the 13", but when I told them, Sweetwater sent me the 13" with absolutely zero hassle, and even let me keep the extra 12". I highly recommend these bags and I also highly recommend Sweetwater.

Quality is awesome. The zipper is big and has a sturdy feel to it. Fit all of my Tama Imperial Star kit with no problem. Makes me feel safe when transporting the kit.

I have used these drum bags for twenty plus years. Have used many different sets with these bags. I used hard cases before I bought these, and at first was concerned about the durability and life span. No need to worry about either. Great, great product. My six year old Yamaha Stage Custom set still looks brand new thanks to these bags. I would not hesitate to purchase again if need be.

These drum bags way exceeded expectations. I knew what i was looking for. I didnt need a bigtime hard case, just something to protect one of my kits as through them in the car, but at the price i was leary. But these cases are strong and incredbily well made. Protects the drums well. Again, they arent hard cases and the interior is overly padded, but they are more padded than expected. I am very happy. And once again a huge shout out to Brandt who helped with the decision and got these cases to me in the timely manner. I needed them quickly. Brandt's the man. And no place is better than sweetwater. At this price range, you cant find anything better in these drum bags.

These are really a great set of drum bags for a "standard" five-piece drum kit. They perfectly fit my Yamaha Stage Custom (1st generation) kit, which consists of:
12 x 10 tom
13 x 11 tom
16 x 16 floor tom
22 x 16 bass
14 x 5.5 snare

As expected, the depth of the bags is actually longer than the actual shell lengths to compensate for the head attaching hardware, so they fit great in both the diameter and depth dimensions.

Also, they seem strong enough, and padded enough, but not so stiff that they can't fit together when empty. In fact, I was surprised as to how small the shipping box was for the set.

These drum cases are better then I expected. They fit my needs very well!

We bought these to protect my son's drums for of move from Florida to Ohio. We had concerns that the tight packing of a 26' truck and a bouncy ride might damage the drums, but I am more than happy to say that his 70's era Ludwig Big Beat drum kit survived without a scratch!

I am very please with the quality and price of these cases. These bags protect my kit very well. I play gigs and used to wrap the drums in moving blankets and it was a hassle and time consuming when loading and unloading.

I can now carry my kit in 1 to 2 trips. The bags have that extra little room to compensate for tom mounts, snare drum throw offs, and they fit very well. I have a PDP Concept Maple kit. Toms: 10,12, 16 My bass is 22x18 and snare is 14x5.5

These bags will protect your kit from scratches and dings when transporting it. They have been working out very well for me. The material is durable and the zippers of quality. ok, the bags came and my 5 piece Pearl Export fit perfectly. you'll have to take the legs off of the floor tom, but duh. the bags are sturdy and will save the shells, rims, and interior of my car from taking crazy abuse. Good price too......i shopped around a lot!

Great set of drum bags for transporting. Convenient zipper closure with strong handles for carrying with plenty of padding for protecting.
