Gator Pro Gig Bag
Like alot of these reviews, I agree it's much more than a 'gig bag'. Almost as tuff as a hardshell. Now, something I haven't heard anyone mention: YES, IT FITS A LES PAUL PERFECTLY!
The neck angle is also perfect in relation to the body, so absolutely no worry about that. I've been carrying a Gibson Custom Shop 59 Burst(reproduction)
in this case and it fits and protects this axe perfectly! Nuff Said.
This is the one
Now, for what some really want to know: Does it fit a Standard Les Paul?
YES IT DOES! The body to neck angle is perfect, just as in a hardshell made for it. Nuff Said.
Awesome bag for longer guitars!
Searched far and wide for a gig bag that would fit my Gretsch Electromatic. This bag fits perfectly without having to remove the bottom cushion. Bonus; without the cushion it accommodates my short scale Sting Ray bass! Great storage pockets and extra handles in the right places too. Well worth the money to protect a traveling instrument.
Mustang Bass -- Yes!
This bag is a perfect fit for my American Performer Mustang Bass. It is a formidable gig bag that looks to offer good protection and intelligent storage features. It even has a stowaway rain cover. I offer this review as a public service to Mustang bass owners looking for a bag or case since a good one is hard to find.
Gator Case
The Gator Electric Pro-go case is a great combination of protection and thoughtful planning of storage. I like this one better than my Mono case. As always my sales rep Sean G took care of me and made sure that it would fit my new bass. He's been helping me for years. Sweetwater is hands down the best place for gear.
Excellent Pro Guitar Light Case
I was looking for a high quality soft guitar case because I was tired of pulling the original hard cases for my different style of guitars I own from Start, Tele, Les Paul, PRS, and others. This case is absolute excellent and very well made. The additional pockets are very functional and the ability to have the internal neck padding to adjust gives you lots of flexibility. The only guitar I was not able to fit was my Jazz Hammer 335 style guitar because of its bigger body. Other than that I strongly recommend this case and would buy it again.
This thing rocks!
Absolutely the best gig bag for the for the price. I'll definitely buy Gator products in the future. This thing rocks!
Pockets and Protection for every Guitarist......
Great Case for my new Tele....
Fantastic Protection, and enough pockets to fit my iPad, Wireless Transmitter & Receiver, extra strings & picks, and a cable or 2 for backup. Real nice. Thanks for the suggestion Derek!!!!
Great
Best soft ish case ever, or so google tells me. I'll let you know in a couple years :) for now, it's awesome. Plenty of various pocket sizes for all the goodies, plush interior is pretty amazing. Straps are very comfortable. Rain pouch is super cool.
The ultimate gig bag!
This, whitout question, is the best gig bag I've ever owned. It's like a hard soft case, sturdy yet lite and very protecrive. My Strat or my Les Paul fit very comfortably and snug. The neck and bottom adjustable pads are great and a decent amout of storage pockets. The raincoat is an added bonus and does come in handy, especially in Florida where we get a lot of rain
perfect bag for a stingray short scale bass
All of my instruments live in gig bags and I've owned most of the top ones available. In order to get most of the benefits of a gig bag, the instrument needs to fit relatively snugly. that is often an issue for short scale basses where most guitar bags are too small and bass bags too big. This guitar bag fits my EBMM Short Scale Stingray almost perfectly. The bag is well designed with great materials. The only change I would make is to change the inside color. White is terribly impractical.
Perfect for my Stingray short scale!
I was looking for a good gig bag for my Stingray short scale. It was kinda tricky because a normal bass bag is definitely too big. This has the option to remove the lower pillow to create more space. It is thought for extra long guitars, but it works very well for short scale basses too. I also have a Gibson les Paul DC, and a Squire Mustang and both fits quite well. The bag is built like a tank! The bass is very well protected and the neck is supported in the right way. It is on the heavy side, but for that quality and protection it feels right. It is very well designed, and it is probably the best gig bag I ever had. Thanks Sweetwater for the excellent customer care. I think you are the best shop online for musical instruments!
Awesome "GigBag"
Anything Gator is good. This is no exception. This thing is amazing. Really does offer case like protection without the hard bulky case. Soft and smooth liner, thick padding, extra thick in all the right places. The pockets are amazing. This bag is like a swiss army knife, could pack everything you need plus a lunch. I was on the fence about this one or the Transit series, I think its called and Im glad I ponied up the extra few bucks for this one. Great bag, great value for the buck. You'll not find a better bag, with this protection and pockets for anywhere close to this price. Fits my PRS Custom 24 and my Fender Strat like cradled babies.
More than a "soft" gig bag
I bought this for a Tele Deluxe, which it fits perfectly and snuggly. This thing is awesome and WAY more stiff and padded than I had initially anticipated. That with the fact that it has a neck support and padded bottom and rubber feet makes this case killer for traveling. I was apprehensive to switch from a hard case for fear of sacrificing protection but the hard case was becoming too much trouble to travel with on the subway. This case checks all the boxes and is more than enough protection as well as having multiple pockets and handles, the ability to tuck the back straps out of the way AND a rain shield that unfolds to cover the entire case if ever caught in the rain. About to buy another one for my Strat too. Shout out to Erik Molenaar for class A assistance and help as always. Sweetwater teams knows what's up.
Awesome
Very well constructed and has a lot o storage. This was exactly what I had in mind and Gator delivered. A lot lighter than my hardshell case and much more storage. Highly protective design. I will be buying another.
The best bag
It has a pocket for everything you need, and it's super high quality. Worth it to keep your precious guitar safe.
Fits the Fender JMJ Mustang Bass
I love it for my jazzmaster, telecaster, and JMJ Fender Mustang Bass. IT's a short scale and it's hard to find a case for it.
I have a single and a double bag - both are awesome.
Gator G-GP
Best gig bag I ever bought!!!
Great Case for Short Scale Bass
This Gator bag is very well made and durable. I use two of them to protect a Spector Bantam and Fender Mustang - both 30 inch scale instruments that fit perfectly in the Gator case.
Best Bag Ever
I"ve had other bags (Gator/Fender/Mono) but the ProGo is by far the best I"ve experienced. Well thought out and rugged. Quite right!!!
Best Gear
I love the bag and use the ProGo for acoustic and electric. Great staff at Sweetwater!!! The best!!
Great Gig Bag!
I bought this particular gig bag for a used Telecaster I recently purchased. The Tele came with a very low quality gig bag, so I immediately wanted to upgrade to protect my investment. I was on the fence about whether to get a hard shell case or a gig bag. I wanted something that wasn't too big and also wasn't a fan of the modern rectangle hard shell cases. I was even tempted to buy a used Fender "chainsaw" case. I was blown away when I opened this gig bag, this thing is sturdy. Plenty of padding and protection for your guitar. It has some rigidness to it, so when you carry it by the side handle, it doesn't feel floppy. It almost feels like you're carrying a hard shell case. I was really surprised by this gig bag. It also has tons of pockets for accessories, books and anything you need to carry. The only complaint I have is the white interior. It may show dirt and grime after some use...time will tell. Other than that, this gig bag is great. You will feel like you're protecting your investment, you have something that's portable and safe, and you won't break the bank buying it. An awesome purchase, very happy!
Gator ProGo Gig Bag
Just got the bag so I can"t comment on the long term durability. However, it appears to be high quality and is very functional. Lots of pockets to store items. The storage area really cushions the guitar.
Great Product!
I honestly wish I could give this thing 10 stars! It is such a solid case! Gator cases have always done me well in the past, but I"ve never owned one of their "soft" cases before. Yes this is considered a "soft" case but it is WAY more solid than anything else you will find, I honestly think it"s better than a hard shell case when it comes to storage capability. You can store anything you need for your guitar rig in this bag! Anything from cables to even some pedals, there is more than enough room for all of your gear! The plush lining on the inside of the case is phenomenal as well! Very well padded to protect anything the road might throw at you! If you"re looking for a very high quality case for a good price, this is it! Gator cases will always be the company I go to when I need great protection for my gear at a great price!
Great gigging bag
This case is not a hard case nor a soft case, but it seems to be a hybrid in between because it keeps it's shape without a guitar in it. It's water resistant and the inside is plush. I also like the adjustable neck support that is held by velcro and the extra cushion on the bottom so when it is set upright, it doesn't jar the guitar. Lots of pockets to keep all sorts of sundries, including an iPad if you have one. It's extremely light and the my most favorite feature is the straps so you can carry it around like a backpack.
Gator ProGo gigbag
The gig bag is great, the service at Sweetwater is even better. Thanks for the great service Alex.
Amazing Gig Bag
These ProGo cases are awesome. Worth every penny.
Gator ProGo Gig Bag, the best!
Seriously! My Sweetwater consultant, Brad, checked out several bags for me after I contacted him and gave him the requirements. These included space for some cables, a music book and notes and, most important, a laptop. As well, as rugged and being able to be moved from car to studio and hotel rooms on at least a weekly basis. He suggested this over a few others, mostly for the laptop requirement.
So, I send the link to it to my wife, and Christmas morning, I see this big ol' box from Sweetwater and the anticipation builds. I open it up and start looking at the quality and the pockets and the interior. My family doesn't quite understand my intense concentration on this thing, until I start pointing out all the details. Even they were impressed (or at least acted that way to shut me up! HA!) The zippers are super solid and well attached and placed for easy opening and closing. The pockets on the outside are easy access. The internal pockets and cable loops are placed very well, so as to not be in the way when loaded with cables.
And, yes, the laptop fits perfectly!!
The interior is, well, PLUSH plus! Half joking told my wife, it's so much nicer than my old gig bag, that I should probably buy a new guitar to use in it. (no, that didn't work) The sidewall protection is soft on the interior, but rigid enough to protect your axe from pretty good bumps.
If anyone is seriously considering getting a gig bag for transporting your axe to and from gigs or studio/lessons, and it's going in your car with you, I feel confident that this thing would offer you and incredible amount of protection from the elements and bumping around in daily transport.
Gator ProGo Ultimate Gig Bag
Great gig bag, solid as a rock, and will definitely keep my guitar protected.
EXCEPTIONAL GIG BAG!
I love my PRS SC-594, that I recently bought from Sweetwater, but I don't like that the PRS case that came with it weighs twice as much as the guitar inside it. So, for me, the answer was simple: gig bag!!! But which one. I finally settled on Gator ProGo Ultimate Gig Bag for Electric Guitar and couldn't be happier.
First, my PRS single cut fits in it securely and like a glove. The padding and lining exceeded my expectations and I feel safe and secure trusting this case to a $3600 guitar.
The bag itself is well-made and has the look and feel of a quality case. And, man, this thing is packed with features. I did remove the backpack straps, since I won't be using them. They just unsnap. There are some smaller outer pockets on the neck section of the bag, but what sold me on this model is the larger outer pouch over the body area.
There is a microfiber lined pouch for an iPad in there. I use an app called SetList on my iPad for sets and lyrics, so this pouch is perfect for that. The same pocket has three Velcro loops for securing guitar cables. There are inner pockets for accessories like strings, tuners, wire cutters, slides, capos, whatever. I used to stuff all that crap in a separate shoulder bag, but no longer have to since it all fits in this bag nicely. And even with the cables and things, it still weighs much less than the PRS hardshell case when it (the PRS case) is empty!
It might look like a lot to pay for a gig "bag", but you get what you pay for. This high quality bag is a bargain for the level of protection and features it offers.
Gator ProGo Ultimate Gig Bag
This Gig bag is so protective and cushy that I never have to worry about my guitar!! It has many pockets for all my accessories!! It's the only one I like!!
Proper Case/Road Ready
I have 2 very nice custom hand made electric guitars from "Caveys Clubs" in Delaware, Ohio. Couldn't see putting these guitars in cheap, non protective cases since they run over 3k each (but worth it) I'm very impressed with this product and will be road testing them this coming year on an "Awareness and Fundraising tour" for "Project Storm Drain Safety" where I'll be traveling, and gigging round the states. I'm confident from quality they will do the job. I love them, best guitar cases hands down, I've ever owned. Both guitars are not conforming shapes but the Gator placed both very well. I'll post again after a few months on the road. If you get a chance to ever stop by Sweetwater........do it, it's fabulous. I want to return when I have more time.
Excellent
Very nice bag... heavy duty with lots of pockets. This is my 2nd one. Use for home storage only, no travel.
Great Bag!
My son got this bag to take a guitar to Northern Europe. No problem going through security, great in overhead compartments, full protection for the guitar. Highly recommend!
great Beddy Bye
Top of the line Gig Bag
Great Bag
This is an amazing gig bag. Very good quality and very sturdy. Lots of padding to protect your guitar and it has lots of pockets for gear too. It's a little expensive but it is a great quality gig bag.
This Is The One
Used and abused for over a month. Super durable-comfortable. Well thought out design. This one will last!
Fantastic Gig Bag
I have had several electric guitar gig bags that have done well for me. However when I purchased this gig bag my expectations were blown away. This is a very well constructed and designed gig bag. It has more compartments than any gig bag I have ever owned. It is very sturdy. The inside is soft and fits numerous types of guitars. I love this bag. I am in a working band and the other guitar player in my band saw it and purchased one. You can't go wrong with this gig bag.
Gator ProGo Ultimate Gig Bag
Awesome product, holds my guitar safely and securely. Nice look and feel, and lots of pockets and compartments for everything I need!
Ultimate Gig Bag
Sweetwater provided a good video of the features; however, this case is even better in person. It is well made all around with great features, carrying pockets, nice plush lining, and totally removable carrying straps on back. The materials and workmanship are top notch and looks like it will last a long time. The only thing I would note is that the case is quite thin--not very deep. Strats and Teles fit in snug fashion; I don't know about thicker guitars. This is no flimsy gig bag and is more like a semi hard, lightweight case. I would readily recommend it to my friends.
Great Gig Bag
Great gig bag, lots of pockets to hold gear, will stand upright and is not flimsy at all. It holds its from and has very soft thick padding with a support for the guitar neck in it. Only thing that would make this a little better would be a piece inside to support the neck from the string side as well. That feature is not really needed but would be nice!
Amazing
A while ago I was looking up gig bags that could fit both my electric guitars. Some how I stumbled on to Gator's website and I knew I had to have this bag. It was so good I told my bandmate and my mom about it. Surprise surprise for my birthday she got it for me. And let me tell you I couldn't be happier. Everything about this bag is A+ . From the soft but protective microfiber padding, To the plush straps, Even the rain cover is good. If you're a guitarist that has to travel (New yorker here) then this gig bag will suit all your needs, plus some. I feel safe knowing that my babies are being carted around in a good protective gig bag. And I'm sure it wont quit out on me. This is the bag for it all, so look no further.
Great Bag!
I could not ask for a better soft case!
Gator G-PG ProGo Ultimate Gig Bag
Can not believe the make-up and durability of this bag! Lots of pockets to carry items all in one package. Of the support it gives to the guitar, what stands out as "icing on the cake" is the ability for it to stand on its own without having to lean it against the wall. (not to mention a raincoat - what else can you ask for such protection makes the low price - well - sweeter!)
gater g-pg electric takes gig bags to a new level
it's like a protective cradle for your precious baby! more storage than any hard case, and great internal adjustability.
Gator G-Pg Electric Ultimate Gig Bag
More than I had expected,. Well-padded.
More like a case than a gig bag...
Calling this product a "gig bag" is an understatement. Super sturdy construction outside and pillow soft on the inside. My tele or strat fits nicely and snugly when zipped up. Lots of storage space in the front compartment that is well organized with pockets for pedals and velcro loops for cables. A bit pricey, but as they say, "you get what you pay for". And in this case (no pun intended!) it is justified. My expectations were exceeded.
Great Gig Bag
I grabbed this bag specifically for the backpack style straps. The interior is nice and soft. The neck support is solid. I'm using a Fender Tele and it fits perfectly. The zippers are large and slide easily (not sure why that's relevant, but I remember thinking "Wow, nice zippers"). One thing that I didn't really notice is the rain cover covers the entire bag and leaves an opening for the straps and side handle. That's really nice. It's out of the way in it's own pocket.
The main pocket is also pretty nice. It's big enough to hold papers (largest sleeve), iPad (wool sleeve), maybe a laptop (but I'm not sure I'd go that far), there are two pockets that can hold strings or smaller things like string winder or cutter.
Overall it's a very tough gig bag. I've used hardshell cases my entire career, but wanted to make less trips during the load in. This is a great alternative for smaller gigs where my gear travels in my car. If I were on tour or had my stuff in a trailer I'd probably still use the hardshell case.
Ultimate is right!
Best case to protect your axe! I was so happy with the first one I purchased to hold my Epiphone Wilshire Phant-o-matic, which is a perfect fit by the way, I purchased one for my Telecaster. The thick dense padding cradles my guitar and the plush micro fleece keeps the finish perfect. Pockets abound and the rain cover is epic! Get this bag if you want great protection for your guitars!!
Fits a Fender Mustang PJ bass
I looked high and low for a short scale bass guitar case for my Fender Mustang PJ bass, but oddly they're almost impossible to find. Everyone kept saying this case worked for a short scale bass, and lo and behold it does! Just have to remove the extra bumper pad on the inside and it fits nicely. Not quite as nice as some of my Reunion Blues soft cases but pretty close, and solved my bass guitar problem.
Great Case! 2 things to consider...
I've been using this case to carry a tele or strat to my teaching studio and gigs for the past several weeks. I love it for many reasons: lots of pockets, substantial padding, and comfy shoulder straps. I'm very happy with the investment but there are two things potential buyers may want to know.
1. The case is about 7 pounds - basically doubling the weight of the guitar. Add a cable, strap, tablet, notebook, pedal, etc. and you're soon carrying a 20+ lb. case around.
2. The white interior is a poor choice IMO. I wish it were black or red or anything else. I keep my gear very clean, but apparently oil from my tuning machines almost immediately discolored the interior.
Otherwise it's an amazing case and makes me feel comfortable travelling daily with my guitar!
Gator ProGo Ultimate Gig Bag Electric guitar
Great Gig bag for travel. Not inexpensive.
Great Gig Bag For Fender Duo Sonic
Bought this Gig Bag for a new Fender Duo Sonic. Recommended by my Sales Advisor. First Gig Bag I have owned. Holds the guitar really well and has several pockets for storing stuff. I am impressed with the quality. Time will tell about the durability but I believe it will be good.
Great Quality Case!
I am a guitar major at a music school and purchased this bag to haul my guitar to and from classes and the occasional gig. I have not been disappointed! This gig bag is very durable (based on the little while that I have had it) and its pretty comfortable to wear. I usually have to wear it for a fairly long periods of time while walking around and it doesn't dig in to my shoulders like many gig bags do and the straps are easy to adjust. I was really impressed by the amount of storage space in the bag. There are tons of pockets for various (small) pieces of guitar gear. However, the one thing that I wish was different is the largest pocket on the front. As a student, I need room for papers and a couple of thick books. I can usually only manage to fit one thick book (The Real Book) and a small folder for sheet music. If you're not needing a ton of space for books and similar things, this shouldn't be an issue. Additionally, the padding inside the case is excellent. I really feel like my guitar is well protected by the case. Great bag!

Great Case!
Premium protection with ease of carry. Perfect for gigging musician.
Great guitar soft case!
I just purchased my second Gator ProGo case. I prefer using the word "case" over "gig bag", as this is an extremely well thought out and implemented serious soft case and much more than a gig bag. I own a few Mono cases, as well as a Blues Reunion, and neither one of them comes close to protecting one of the most vital parts of a soft case - namely the bottom of the body where the strap peg sticks out. This case has TONS of cushy, semi-firm padding there. If I drop my Mono or Blues Reunion cases, I can hear the strap peg hitting the floor because of the almost non-existent bottom cushion. That is completely unacceptable to me. Not so with this Gator case! It bounces nicely on the oversized bottom body block. This is the number one essential feature for me. What good is a guitar case if it doesn't protect the instrument??? This case has a lot of really well thought out features such as the included rain cover, oversized pockets to store strings, picks, tuners, etc. And the large padded pocket for your laptops/tablet is a nice feature with a nod to modern musicians. The straps are comfortable and easily adjusted, the handle is balanced and feels sturdy, and it oozes quality throughout. This is my new go-to case, and if/when I buy a new guitar, I'll buy another one of these to protect it.
Great Gig Bag
Really like this bag. Very functional if you swap guitars for a gig. Has plenty of pockets to store needed stuff. I had a gig bag for years, but did not have the compartments I needed. This provides that. Padding and case material is solid. Its as pricey as a good case, but worth the money in my opinion. It is a bit large if you are used to something thinner, but thats to be expected. The backpack straps are very functional and comfortable.
I would recommend this.
Great gig bag!
To me, Gator was a kind of SKB ripoff... But this gig bag is absolutely amazing!
I have 15 guitars, a Mono M-80, a Reunion Blues Continental, a Mooradian, a Levy's, etc...
But this is now my favorite one.
Only I hope that they make a removable strap pin protection for a guitar like a Tom Anderson which has two strap pins...
Gig bag
Really nice guitar gig bag. With plenty of pouches and pockets for all guitar stuff. The last two gator gig bags I bought , the main zippers broke with in 6 months. If the zippers last on this one , I will come back and give it 5 star rating. On that note, the main zipper on this one feels stronger and seems a little better. Only time will tell. All in all, this is a great case for the $. Yes, I would recommend it to a friend .
Great Product
This is the best gig bag I've ever purchased. Period! It has solid construction and provides great protection for an electric guitar. I'm so confident with this bag that I've placed another guitar (in a gig bag) on top of this case in my car trunk without any concerns. I think only a hardshell case would provide more protection. My PRS guitars sit securely in it, and there is plenty of storage space in three pockets. I always carry my PRS Hollowbody II guitar in a PRS hardshell case, but would still use this gig bag if I really had to. This bag also comes with a rain/snow protector cover. If there's a downside, I'd would say that this bag is not the most comfortable gig bag to carry on your back, but that's only a minor gripe. I'd rather have the security of solid protection for my guitars than a little extra comfort. If you're thinking about getting this bag - get it! You won't be disappointed.
Great guitar case
Well constructed and lots of storage space. Highly recommended as a gig bag
Excellent Gigbag!
Great Gigbag, well padded and plush, quality construction. I won't hesitate to pack and grab this for my strat or tele. Also impressed with all the storage and pockets, enough for all the essentials and a pocket for an ipad too. I'm looking forward to using this for my next jam, the weather has been in a deep freeze and it looks like this bag would keep the guitar warm from my house to the jam!
The Bag Will Not Come As Advertised
I've ordered two of the bags and neither of these two bags have come with the adjustable back straps as advertised. I'm 6'1 and where the completely unadjustable straps are on the bag have me running into every door frame if I wear it as intended.
Beyond that is a very well-made bag. It is a shame that you won't get what you pay for.
You will see from my picture how the back of the bag will come and note how there are no hooks or anything that would justify calling the back of this bag "adjustable".
Like it but stitching is poor
Received it and right shoulder strap stitching gave out before I left the house.
I do like the bag though. Very compartmentalized which is great for gear and sheet music/books.
Very soft fleece lining inside and padding is great.
Good, but not nearly the best.
3 stars is "really good." That describes this ProGo gig bag. It's not the ultimate by any means. My Mono 80 and Mono Vertigo bags offer much better protection of the top and back because of the layer of hard material between the interior and exterior. On this Gator, I can push in the front and back until I feel the guitar. Can't do that on the mono or even the Reunion Blues Continental I have for a 000 size acoustic. I can also push in the top of the case where the others are completely rigid.
I also do not like that the Gator does not inclue a strap to keep the neck in the neck block like my Mono M80 or the headlock system on the Mono Vertigo. Reunion Blues Continental has this as well. I don't know that it will be an issue in practice, but some guitars will be able to move inside the Gator case that would be held in place by the others.
BUT... this bag IS well thought out and is better than most bags on the market. LOTS of pockets to hold all kinds of stuff. Very handy. I do like the thick cusion pad for the end pin. The mono has a different, but effective system in the same area. The interior is soft and will be easy on the guitar. But from what I'm feeling, the foam on the back of the guitar is thicker than the foam on the front of the guitar. For the "ultimate," it should be thicker on the front.
The backpack straps are really nice. They can be clipped to different places top and bottom so that the guitar sits at the right height for you. Nicely done. The handle is comfortable. The zipper pulls feel sturdy. The bag is a bit heavy for the protection offered.
Overall, if you can get this one on sale, it's a good deal. If it's at the regular price, take a look at other offerings and if you can afford it, move up to something that will better protect your guitar.
One problem
I bought my gator go pro about 4 years ago and used it a lot but after 3 years the bag held together real good except for one component...the zipper failed....they used a very soft low quality zipper pull that bent very easily after time. Finally it locked up closed and I couldn't get my Tele out before a gig. I had to cut the bag open with pocket knife. Ruining a perfectly good back for one weak component. I ordered the m80 hybrid
Heavy (for a gig bag) & terrible customer service
I bought this to transport my guitar to & from work so I can practice during lunch break. First off, it's heavier than I expected (~7.25 lbs empty). Add a Strat, some cables, a tablet & a metronome you're going on 16-18 lbs. Not a big deal until you try to lift it to wear as a backpack. After 5 months I noticed the right arm strap latch started to rip away from the case. These bags come with a lifetime warranty so I filed a claim via their website. I've written them twice since then (almost 2 weeks) and have had ZERO response. Definitely would NOT buy again!
