This show-stopping acoustic guitar consists of a 4-piece Adirondack spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides. Those tonewoods, combined with the Grand Pacific body shape, deliver a deep, warm tonality that effortlessly fills the room. Add in an easy-playing "V"-shaped mahogany neck, and you have yourself a recipe for 6-string success onstage and in the studio. A top straight out of tomorrow
Sourcing full-width cuts of Adirondack spruce is increasingly difficult. Taylor, as they always do, chose to innovate. Your new Custom Grand Pacific comes with a 4-piece Adirondack spruce top. Each piece of spruce is carefully selected for straight, strong grain, which helps the top deliver top-shelf tone and ensures it looks like a normal 2-piece guitar top. The 4-piece spruce top is paired with solid mahogany back and sides for extra warmth and resonance.
Grand Pacific body shape
Taylor introduced the Grand Pacific body shape in 2019 to critical acclaim. The Grand Pacific takes the traditional slope-shouldered dreadnought design and updates it for today’s players. Buoyed by Taylor’s V-Class architecture, the Grand Pacific gives you a round, broad sound with warm overtones. Plus, the powerful bass response is always controlled and never muddy, even under heavy strumming.
