Cordoba GK Studio Nylon String Acoustic-electric Guitar - Natural Reviews

6-string Acoustic-electric Nylon-string Classical Guitar with Cypress Back and Sides, and European Spruce Top - Natural

The Cordoba GK Studio nylon-string acoustic-electric guitar combines a fast-playing feel with traditional flamenco construction techniques for a remarkable playing experience. The GK Studio is built for tone, with cypress back and sides with a solid European spruce top. The mahogany neck is slightly thinner and narrower than traditional classical guitars for smooth playability. And the thinner body style is comfortable for players of any style. Not only do you get premium tonewoods, the GK Studio shows Cordoba's attention to detail with a hand-inlayed wood rosette and gold/black tuners with ebony buttons. You also get the Fishman Presys Blend pickup system built right in. For a highly playable guitar with some beautiful appointments, you'll love the Cordoba GK Studio.

The BEST nylon guitar I have ever played!!!

By Cristian from San Antonio, TX on August 25, 2023 Music Background: Amateur with big aspirations and going hard at it!

The small mods of this guitar (e.g.: thinner neck and nut, body cut to access higher frets, thinner body) make all the difference.
Absolutely a must if you're considering nylon guitars.

The Cordoba GK Studio is a great guitar.

By Neil from Cincinnati on September 6, 2022 Music Background: Advanced player, multi instrumentalist.

I've owned two of these, one I bought damaged from another store and repaired and one I bought (barely used) for my brother. I also have set up a third one for a multi instrumentalist friend who plays with the Cincinnati Symphony. He bought his after playing mine. Of the three, mine is the best sounding, but the other two are close seconds. I use my GK for a wide variety of music: classical, folk, pop; pretty much anything I can play on a steel string. I don't play flamenco. Nylon string guitars are easier on the RH fingernails, can be more expressive, and work really well on certain songs in my repertoire. I string my GK with Savarez S.A. 500CJ New Cristal Corum Classical Guitar Strings - High Tension.

Beautiful instrument at a bargain price

By Madison Bond from St. Augustine, Florida on December 21, 2021

I purchased the lefty version of this guitar, my first nylon string classical. I was really surprised how beautifully finished this guitar is for the price. The tone is great, the guitar is solid, and it looks terrific. I ordered it with the marching gator case, and the fit was good. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. Customer service at Sweetwater is second to none, and a big shout out to a Jeff Rohlfing for helping me. Everyone mentions Sweetwater customer service in these reviews, and with good reason…this company is terrific and a joy to deal with.
