I bought this to carry my Arturia controller, and it fits great. It has room for thicker 49 keyboards, but the width and length work great. Nice padded interior and durable handles.

Gator quality; nice bag with plenty of pockets for storage.

The review title is what matters most I think to keyboardists. This matters to me just a little more as I got this case to use to carry my newest baby, the Osmose. With the internal Velcro straps, not only is the length and depth a perfect sung fit, the straps hold the keyboard down in the case so there's no awkward falling/sliding around to disturb the unique key bed. I wanted a case that would hold the synth as tight as possible so that the keys might not be lay in such a way as to lean on the keys and push their unique sensors out of balance. After that, I know Gator makes great gig bags. The stitching, the fabric, the sturdy handles, they all give me confidence with my new baby.

As with all Gator products, the GXB-49 Keyboard Gig Bag is well made. It has 2 large, zippered pockets on the outside and is well padded inside with wide padded Velcro hold-down straps. I gave it 4 stars because it is about 6 inches too long for my Nektar GXP-49. I couldn't find a 49 key case I liked that was smaller. I think you could put some 61 keys in this case. But it works.

I wanted a keyboard bag for my 61 key synth. All the bags for 61 keys were too big. I wanted a custom fit, so I decided to check out the keyboard bags for 49 keys. The Gator GKB-49 was 1" longer and 1" wider than my Prophet Rev2. Just what I was looking for. It fits like a glove. Solid construction and well padded. Thank you Toni Bush Nord for your assistance.

The bag is nice, has plenty of room, but maybe too much room for my MPK249 and my Nektar Panorama P4. I wish they would make a bag with smaller length. The rest of the dimensions are fine. I have to stuff things on one side of the bag to keep my keyboard from moving while carrying it.

Really good cushions inside for my synth and love the rubber 'feet' at the bottom! Handle is nice too, although I wish it had a shoulder strap.

I bought this Gator GKB-49 gig bag to protect my keyboard on a flight across the country. With a couple inches of padding on all sides, I beleive my keyboard was quite comfortable for its entire ride in the overhead compartment. After I arrived, all of my gear (my keyboard, and all the accessories I stored in the spacious zipper pockets) was still secured and fully functional.

The only way I could imagine this bag serving me better is a shoulder strap, and that's just because of my personal preference to carry my equipment either on my shoulder or on my back.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase; I would definitely recommend this bag!

I have a Komplete A49 keyboard, it fits perfectly inside this bag. Also, there are two padded security straps inside, with velcro closures. The straps not only hold the instrument in place both horizontal and vertical ; but none of the buttons or knobs are disturbed by them.

Originally I used this to transport a Roland Gaia with accessories, but I sold that synth. Now it holds my 20"x8" pedalboard along with various cables, expression pedal, power strip and any other needed accessories. Well-designed bag with various uses and several areas for storage.

Very good quality, it's what I've come to expect from Gator. This is the seventh Gator bag I've purchased, I'm sure I'll buy more in the future from my favorite music store - Sweetwater.

I got one for my Roland SH-01 GAIA synth, as the Gator 37 key bag would have been about 9 inches too narrow! The interior straps hold the GAIA quite snugly, and can go AROUND the knobs, so, no worries there! There is even room inside to roll up a towel on both sides of the keyboard, for extra protection. The exterior pocket has PLENTY of space for the power source, cords, all of the accessories that came with the synth, Whoever designed the handles on the case, well, their weight offsets what is in the exterior pocket, so it sits easily on the protective rubber feet, not sure if they had that in mind, but, it works well!A well thought out design!

This gig bag is not too heavy, but it is very durable and strong. At the same time, it is soft on the inside. It has two straps to hold a keyboard in place with lots of extra padding. These are secured with hook-and-loop material. The zippers never bind and the pockets are deep and wide.
It fits my DSI Rev2 perfectly. I can carry the power cord and audio cables in one pocket and a music book in the other. Very convenient.

It is very spacious and safe. Fits easily MPK249 Akai keyboard, and I think some keyboards of 61 keys can also get comfortable because it is quite large. In addition it shows very good quality materials preparation and very good protection to move from one place to another.It has large and functional pockets with secure closures. Not only soft on the inside, but also rugged and well constructed on the outside. tough edge surrounds on the outside will help protect the gear on the inside. Two oversized cushioned velcro straps on the inside will hold the gear in place securely, Nothing wimpy or cheap about this gig bag.

I was looking for a case for my new Akai MPK61. All of the 61 key cases were way too big for the MPK's low profile. I found the Gator 49 case via Sweetwaters case finder, and it fits my MPK 61 like a glove. Very secure hold for all my traveling needs. Good amount of pocket room for cable and audio interface storage as well. Great buy.

You won't find a more odd-ball shape than a Vortex keytar. Thanks to Gator's inner hook & loop straps, my ax is safe and snug. The bag is well-built and robust. I would purchase again.

It does what I paid for it to do.... protects my MPK-49.....
I DO wish it were a little less in length.... but, the additional "air" can be considered a "safety" factor.... and NO ONE makes a smaller (in length) case, Good quality case and VERY worth the money...

Perfect case so far. Case is for 49 key, but fits my 61-key Hammond SK1 great. Ample padding on the topside. Zippers seem to be of good quality and work smoothly. Handle seems sturdy enough.

Outside pocket is bigger than I thought it would be, very useful. Fits my hammond exp pedal and footswitch, cables, music, etc.

This bag is great for my "Roland A-500S" keyboard. It is heavily padded which protects your expensive gear. It has lots of pockets for cords and other accessories, and the nylon zipper is strong and works well. "A must have for your keyboard !"

I was looking another brand bag that was around 20.00 less but I am very happy with my choice by going with the Gator Bag. Very well made and carries more of my accessories than I expected.

Fits my Axiom 49 pretty handily. The inside velcro straps have about an inch of foam padding so you can tighten them down without smooshing your gear. I have enough room inside for my NanoKontrol and a small USB hub as well. The outside pocket is just big enough for a 15" Macbook pro in a slim case, expression pedal, and power supply for the macbook. The mesh pocket on the very outside is great for cables...

-1star because there aren't more or bigger outside pockets. The work for what I want but it'd be nice if there were some additional spots to hold stuff. I also wish the outside pockets were padded but oh well. All in all a very solid bag.
