Very convenient

Very convenient, works very well. Makes the transporting, logging and setting up faster and better.

Nice!

Nice bag. Well constructed, holds mic stands as advertised. No more wrestling mic stands.

Mic Stand Soft Case

By Kent Davis from West Palm Beach on March 16, 2022

Great bag for my new mic stands. Nice and sturdy with a convenient zippered end cap. Compartments are well-padded, enough room for a cable or two. Will definitely keep the stands looking good for a while. Very happy! Thanks and kudos as always to Lee Cook and the Team at Sweetwater!

Great mic stand bag even for modest gigs or storage

By SRH from Tejas on March 6, 2022 Music Background: My musical background is often leftover Xmas decorations the club was too lazy to put away by February.

Greetings. This bag has simplified my gig life. A friend who runs sound for his 4-piece band got one of these and decided it was too heavy with six quality mic stands in it. I tend to agree but I took it off his hands anyway. I do mostly smaller solo or duo/trio gigs and I love it. I stick three mic stands in plus a smaller kick/guitar amp stand and a double guitar stand and I have no trouble. I strongly dislike loading/carrying bare mic stands. Cmon, we all know how much that blows. I was using those green smaller double mic stand bags and individual bags for other stands and that was a tedious mess, especially at tear down and load out. This thing is great, shove them all in there zip it up and you're done. Efficient and clean on the gig and home storage. I ended buying another one and gave it to the 6-piece band I play with. They love it. If you can stand(pun intended) the larger piece it's much more organized and will keep your stands in nice shape also.

Super Bag

By Michael from Texas on May 20, 2021 Music Background: 50+ years rocking and rolling!

I've got a trio - we needed a bag sturdy enough to carry three K&N tripod mic stands with booms and three Hercules guitar stands (GS414B Plus). I was concerned about the guitar stands because the head that grips the guitar neck is fairly large. The Gator bag "looked" like it would work but I wasn't sure. Talked with Ben Robinson, my Sweetwater Sales Engineer, and he suggested it looked like it would work - try it and if not happy just return it. We received the bag and everything fit, and the bag was certainly "road worthy!". Very tough and durable. Six large separate sections inside with a secure, zippered top. Great soft handles and strap on the side for carrying the bag. Really love this thing!

Does the job

By Edgar from Atkinson, IL on April 13, 2021

This bag will hold six mic stands with booms.
It is made of heavy duty canvas and has a gripped surface on the bottom. The stands are separated by padding so they do not get scratched. The bag also stands up on its end which allows you to take out mics or put them away without bending your back.

Great, Durable, 10/10

By Julia from Virginia on March 16, 2021

This bag is great! It holds all of our mic stands (and room for more!), and the padding inside makes me feel very comfortable storing the mic stands wherever we need to!

Great Bag!

By 12Stringer from NW Missouri on June 12, 2019

This holds a lot more than the description really indicates. I use one of these to carry ALL of my stands: four tripod mic stands, four on-stage stands telescoping racheting booms, and two on-stage stands mini-speaker stands. they all fit and it isn't too heavy to be schlepping around.
The protection and size is much better than the GX-33 bag Gator makes.

Perfect!

By Todd from Washington, DC Area on May 27, 2019 Music Background: Musician, Teacher, Sound Engineer

To me the pictures made this bag look a lot less solid than it is. The padding is more plush than I thought, the bag is more sturdy than I thought. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with how solid, yet lightweight, the bag is when you get it in person.

Awesome bag!

By Matt from Round Rock, TX on May 14, 2019 Music Background: Musician

If you have more than 4 stands and need to haul them around weekly, these thing is awesome! Only been using it for two weeks, but the overall durability of the material and well built design has worked perfectly. Having the zipper being circular and not just straight down the long side keeps it more protected. I like that because I have had zippers rip apart at the seams on other bags because they were not manufactured well. Also, the bag will stand on it's own when upright. That's fantastic! Great bag. You should buy it!

The Bag of my Dreams

By Al from Florida on April 9, 2019 Music Background: Musician/Engineer

This mic stand bag is a thing of beauty. It holds six stands and has padded dividers between each compartment. Perfect if you like to keep your stands from looking like they've been used as battering rams.
It's on the large side, but for me it works perfectly. The perfect gift for your mic stands. Show them some love!

Great case, great price

carries 6 boom stands and protects them great!

Excellent

By Sweetwater Customer from Dallas, TX on August 10, 2018

This bag is larger than you might think and has excellent padding, including between dividers. It is also an excellent value. I use it for my conga rig, with room for two conga stands (the two stand parts in one compartment, with separators raised to the top), one bongo stand (also two parts)and three mic stands. It is far better than the roller trunk I had been using for all my stands (no more digging around in a pile of other stands). If you use tripod stands without a boom you can fit a dozen in this bag.

I have found a range of quality in Gator bags. with a few being less than impressive, but this is definitely one of their best. For anyone who uses high-end stands this is a good investment.

Handy Dandy Bag

By Marc Trainor from El Cajon, CA. on July 28, 2018 Music Background: Pedal steel, recording live, vocal and guitar.

I'm pretty much blown away with this bag. That's kind of a lot to say about a mike stand bag, but for me the price is really good, a lot less than another big name bag I use, and it seems to be very durable looking. Nice thick padded material. Time will tell how the stitching holds up, but that's true on anything like that. I love the fact that it's so easy to just drop the stands in the bag, pretty much, or easily push them down to the bottom of the bag. What really rings my bell here, is that I'm able tofit my tall K&M boom stands in there and still shut the top without it sticking out too much. The bag is just long enough for that stand. I'm also able to drop my Atlas bass drum stand, which has a round base, upside down into it and still zip the zipper around the round base without any trouble. Boy, what a deal. I hate unscrewing those bases, so now I can just drop, at least on of them into the bag. Marc Trainor.

Awesome Mic Bag!

By Don from SoCal on July 24, 2018 Music Background: Bach to Rock

Bought this bag as a replacement to my Stagepro mic bag and it's fantastic! Each mic stand fits nicely inside its own little pocket and they don't bang against each other. The flat Stagepro bag just stacks the mic stands on top of each other and I've ruined several stands, broken parts, etc. Efficient and sturdy bag! Go get one...!

Impressive

By JFairweather from Dallas, TX on July 16, 2018

This is a large bag (larger than you might think) and it is very well padded, including the interior slots, plus the ends have rigid inserts to prevent the stands from creating undue wear. It is advertised as light-weight, but it isn't all that light. While it could be easily be used for budget-priced stands, this is clearly designed for protecting the more expensive and beefier stands.
I purchased this for my conga set: two heavy duty-dual conga stands, one heavy-duty bongo stand, and three mic stands. While the drum separators need to be removed and stuffed into the ends, everything else fits with ease. As for price, this is far less expensive that one would expect for a bag of this quality. If I had any complaints it would be that there is no pocket for odds and ends, but this is not an issue by any means.
Considering what you get for the price and the protection it provides, I would easily recommend this bag.

Very Nice Mic Stand Carry Bag!

By Todd from Southern MD on March 23, 2020 Music Background: Years of Bass, Guitar, Recording, Live

Pretty simple operation. With 4 (now discontinued) Gatorworks iD series mic stands that fit perfect and well-protected in said bag. 4/5 stars for no shoulder strap.

Great Bag

Nicely built... Bought to help protect the stands and keep them looking new...

Not quite

By Crash from WI on January 25, 2019 Music Background: Classical bassoonist, punk rock bass player, Live sound engineer

Just got this after it'd been on backorder for months. I wanted it based on all the positive reviews.
Maybe Gator Frameworks rushed to get these to a demanding market, but there's NO SHOULDER STRAP. Not even the rings for one.
I'm sure this is an excellent bag, and will work well. I really wish it had the shoulder strap though. 6 stands is HEAVY.
