New for
boom mic stands
These work great for our worship team musicians. Delivery was quick and setting them up was simple and easy. I most appreciate how Sweetwater stands behind their products and has actual people available to insure satisfaction.
No Mic Clip
I have no problem with the stand, but be aware that a mic clip is not included.
Telescoping stand
We received those stands and from the beginning we started to enjoying them. The construction of these stands are superior to the ones that we have been using lately. More strong and reliable and more light. We made the right decision for our church.
well built but taller thana standard boom stand
Ok. It's a mic stand.. and well made on at that.
Height grip handle hard to squeeze.
Height at lowest setting is about 3" higher than an OnStage boom which can be an issue for sit down players.
Kept it for my studio and bought the latter for solo gigs etc.
Possibly worst mic stand ever made?
On Stage stands are better than this thing. The clutch on the boom is almost impossible to tighten by hand in order for it not to slip. The triggers break with even light use. For the price, this thing is awful. It wasn't just a lemon. I have 4 of them. They are all awful.
Disappointed
Purchased at gearfest 2015, Used about 10 hours and slide lever broke and I used tape to hold into position. Used about another 10 hours and tension handle for the boom broke in half. For the price I was very disappointed. These were not hard hours just a simple 1 hour show.
