Worth 2X the price ...

I purchased 4 of these in a bundle deal. Application is to unobtrusively capture and record the occasional Children's Choir, downstage during a performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. Using 4 or 5 RODE NT5s with shock mounts on the edge of the stage. Fingers crossed that floor reflections won't be an issue ...

Stands are very well made, heavy enough to provide a stable platform for most microphones (my SM7s are OK on these stands). Would have to be severely kicked to topple.

Fit and finish are perfect. Beautiful!

My only slight gripe is that the microphone thread is a 3/8"-16 ... not the standard 5/8"-27 that we use on this side of the pond. I might find some LONG 3/8" to 5/8" adaptors and Loctite or epoxy them to the top of the stands and use a good jam nut (I like the Latch Lake ones, they are the best ...)

Does the job. Worth 2 times the price, at least.

Nice mic stand for a great price

Good quality stand for the price the base is heavy and thick. It won't be easy to knock over. I'm a ham radio operator so I modified it with the spring loaded toggle switch to key the radio mic. For the price I didn't expect free shipping but it did take longer than normal.
