Well built, seems solid. Fairly easy to adjust.
It just doesn't go high enough for me. I use with a keyboard or sometimes a lap steel guitar.
At max height it's just a few inches too low for me. I'm 5'11", so I'm not super tall.

Considering the unit come fully assembled, absolutely noting bad can be said. The unit is sturdy and works as advertised.

I bought this stand as part of a bundle with the Yamaha DGX-670 (47 lbs), and the stand is so wobbly, it's unusable. This is not an acceptable stand for a keyboard of this weight.

I use this as part of my ultralight session rig, with a 15lb 61-key axe. It's strong, light, and fast- exactly what I need.

The reviews here pretty much rave about this stand, but I did not find it sturdy and stable enough for a mere 10-pound, 61-key keyboard. I had wondered how a single X-stand could reportedly be as effective as a double X-stand. Well, it seems that it can't. And the price for something this weak makes it a bad deal. I ended up using it at home for another of those small-and-light keyboards, and going back to my double X-stand for outside-the-home use.

I live in a tiny apartment, and needed a stand for my 61 key arranger. It's strictly for home and the most important thing was easy set up and take down. This Gator stand is great. Plus, when not in use, it's easily stored behind a door. It's extremely sturdy and I think I could multiply my arranger's weight by 10 and it would still hold it.

The locking mechanism is extremely secure. This stand could definitely take the wear and tear it would be subject to on the road. I wouldn't hesitate to use it out if I needed to do so.

This was my 1st Gator stand purchase. I'm a fan of their cases and now I know their stands are well made, too. Great stand for the $$.

I needed a stand that would sit pretty low and was actually in stock somewhere. The locking mechanism on this stand is sturdy and provides a plethora of height options which is exactly what I needed. There was no assembly necessary and my P125 feels very secure on it.

I only initially ordered from Sweetwater because they provided the fastest shipping time but will definitely be coming back to them for future purchases. It's always the small things that make the biggest difference and Sweetwater really goes above and beyond.

Great stand. Was very easy to set up (in the box it was basically "collapsed," and all I had to do was just take it out and stretch it apart into its normal state). The mechanism for locking and unlocking as also very easy to use. It also seems very durable and capable of holding a fair amount of weight, especially at this price point. I use it as my backup stand where I put my other keyboards and synths on for jamming (my original old stand is holding my main Yamaha MODX). Very glad with this decision.

Used with our church's vintage Yamaha DX-9 which is built like a tank and pretty heavy. Wanted something more substantial than the lightweight x-brace stand we had been using. This definitely filled the bill. I would recommend adjusting the tension knob on the lock mechanism to ensure that you are going to get a good lock. Our keyboard player was unfamiliar with this kind of mechanism and initially had it set too loose. A quick three quarter turn on the tension knob and got a rock-solid lock. Like the ability to later add a second tier keyboard later with the extension kit if we want. May get that some day if we add a MIDI controller to the mix. Definitely recommend this stand.

Real solid for an X style stand. Lots of adjustable ratchet points, solid lock lever. Great for mixers and lighter synths. If you have a heavier workstation/piano
It shakes a bit if the playing gets intense, in that case I recommend a heavier duty stand.

This stand meets my needs perfectly. Reasonably priced, lightweight & easy to figure out. I'm very happy with it.

For this kind of stand, it's very nice. it comes ready to use and is easy to figure out.

Now, of course this kind of stand (X frame) is not the most ideal for a live performance where someone might easily accidentally knock into it, but for easy going live situations, studios, and homes it is ideal.

It is sturdy, well made, and features a clever dual radial ratchet capture device with a lever (you'll know what I mean when you see it) to make your height adjustments and secure it for use.

Support dimensions are excellent and it is just heavy enough to resist being easily toppled, yet small and light enough to easily fold up and transport.

I am very happy with it.

I play a lot of one hour jobs and use a very light keyboard. This stand is perfect for me. I like the many easily adjustable positions it locks into so I don't even need a bench - any available chair will do. Works great for me!

The stand I ordered for my keyboard was sturdy and works well for me. The sustain pedal made my Casio keyboard sound better too. Sweetwater carries great products.
