This rack is amazing! It's easy to build if you're used to DIY projects. I'm super excited I brought it; now I have extra rack options for more analog gear. What makes this perfect is that I was able to place this above my Defi sidecar, and it looks great! Now I'm looking forward to adding more gear via purchasing the Gator Frameworks Elite Desk 10U Rack - Driftwood Grey next!

The Gator Frameworks Elite Series 4U Desktop Studio Rack fit my needs perfectly. It houses two pieces of rack-mount equipment comfortably, with room for airflow (one is an amplifier with vents top and bottom).

Assembly was trouble-free. I used a single philips-head screwdriver. Mounting seems sturdy and secure; the rack rail has pre-threaded holes (no nuts needed. The Rack comes with bolts that fit the threaded holes, along with washers to protect the front panels of your equipment. It assembled in minutes. The Rack also comes with a small bag of extra hardware in case anything turns up missing. Very thoughtful.

The Rack looks great in my rig and brings two very important pieces of equipment front-and-center when before they were stacked up to the side.

Compared to my studio desk (Amazon), this was pretty difficult to build. Personally, I think it's overpriced for what is; basically an IKEA kit, only IKEA parts fit & assemble better. I wanted to like it more... it is the right size.
