I found it really easy to put together. Everything was labeled correctly. They even gave a bag with extra parts. The desk itself is nice and sturdy. I was hesitating about getting this from the other reviews but they were from a while ago so I took my chances. I'm glad I did.

I have been looking for the right desk for a guitar station, and I chose this one. I love it! I found it easy to put together, the quality is great and I was especially impressed with the materials used to ship it. Great buy!!

Now that I've had some time to work with this work station, I find it perfect for my needs. The assembly required a bit of time and patience, but it proved to be well worth the effort. I'd highly recommend this unit to others.

As with the other review, the instructions are poorly written.

For example, the legend labels parts differently from the labels used throughout the instructions so you're left to figure out and hope you're using the right part. Easy to do if you've assembled RTA stuff before, but forces you to re-read every step at each step to try and piece the process together.

But more importantly, plastic inserts that were factory assembled for the top shelf were missing in the desktop. Therefore, there's no way to attach the desktop to the frame. Sweetwater reached out to Gator who were slow to respond and then finally ended up sending a new hardware kit. Useless. The parts missing aren't contained in the user assembly hardware kit as they are supposed to be installed at the Gator factory.

I now have a fully assembled desk without the actual … desk. Unacceptable from Gator. Sweetwater, on their end, has been trying to rectify the issue but are dependent on Gator doing their job. It's a shame to have to send me a whole new desk just for 6 inserts that cost probably less than $0.50.

This is a good quality desk with very nice slide out bearings for the keyboard tray. However, the manuals instructions are very vague, the parts are not labeled(it refers to them as A, B, C, D, etc but the parts them selves are not labeled as such). it is also at times unclear what screw you should use and several places where you must use screws there are no pre-drilled pilot holes. This makes it a bit of an experience.

However, getting past all of that it is a very solid feeling desk with good sturdy metal frames etc.
