Great case for the money! Holds my PRS Dusty Waring model perfectly and secure . The added light is great feature for dimly light venues. As always my sales engineer Danny got it shipped out fast and I had it within a few days.

The case is a really nice case, but it was missing the keys for the lock, and one of the screws that holds the built-in light in place was missing. I looked all over the case, and I didn't find either. And yet, I'm still giving this case a 5-Star review.
I've bought Gator cases before, so they're of known quality to me. For what I paid for it, I still think it was a good buy. I've certainly spent more on a case before. My aluminum touring case comes to mind. I'm just not one to get wigged out over one missing screw, that has very little functional affect. A quick pop into the hardware store, and problem solved. If you see a bunch of reviews here talking about missing screws, or keys, then maybe it's a problem. I don't remember seeing anything like that in the reviews I looked at before I bought the case.
I won't ever need the key. They kind of saved me the trouble of loosing it myself truth be told, so it wasn't worth buggin' over. Not even half a star.
I know Sweetwater well enough to know that if I brought this to their attention they would have made it right somehow, but for me, it wasn't worth all the hassle. For the price range, it's a nice case. It'll protect my PRS, for which I bought it, and I can put it's original hard shell case it came with away to keep it looking nice. Let the Gator take the beating.
I'm writing this just to document this specific problem, but I'd be surprised if it's an actual issue with anyone else. If you think it's worth docking the case a star or so for a missing screw, then, A) Just pretend I gave this case whatever review you think it deserves for such egregious harm, AND 2) write your own review. JK... sorta

I bought this case as a replacement for the Ibanez M300C Molded Hardshell Guitar Case - RG & S Series, which I had to return because of the TOXIC GLUE issue.

This case has a similar TOXIC GLUE issue, albeit a different glue. EXTREMELY STRONG, EXTREMELY LONG-LASTING, AND POWERFULLY OFFENSIVE!

I put the case outside to air out. After about 45 minutes the strap became unglued.

At this point I know it's junk and it's going back.

I tested the LED light (cool feature). The light never turns off when the case is closed.

I AM SHOCKED that Gator would produce such garbage!

Two cases, so far from Sweetwater that are totally unacceptable, and I still don't have a case for my JEM. :(

I love doing business with Sweetwater. It's always easy, they have REAL customer service, and they always get things to me fast! The case is very sturdy on the outside and plush on the inside. I'm extremely pleased with it!

Snug fit on my Kramer Nightswan. Stout latches, LED light, plush interior. Room for big thick strap & strap locks.
Wish it had a door for the pockets, that's all. I'm happy both work together so well.

I'll start by saying that I'm a Gator case fan girl. I bought this for a limited addition Fender Tele. I bought the guitar during the pandemic and didn't know how much gigging I would do with it so when I purchased it I bought a gator transit case. when I needed to start throwing it into the car multiple times a week, there was no way I was going to do that with a gig bag though the commuter case is nicely padded. this case gives me all the protection I need and when I take the guitar out in the car in cold-weather and get it into a building when I arrive wherever I'm going, it has been insulated well enough that the guitar isn't chilled which is a big factor for me. There's plenty of room for accessories in this case and the LED lights are just an indulgence I made which has turned out to be quite useful. another great product from Gator.

I bought this case for my PRS SE Custom 24 and it fits perfectly. Does a great job of protecting my guitar and the light is nice as well.

Im a fan of Gator cases. 'I'llsay that up front. When I bought my LE FMT HH Tele a while ago - the pandemic was at its height and I purchased a Gator Transit bag for it. Great for around the house etc. Well, now that the Tele and I are going out a lot, there was no way I was putting that soft case in the trunk of my CRV, so I purchased this. It takes a beating a few times a week, and is just great protection. It's not too heavy, fits my Tele perfectly, has huge compartments and the LED light option is sometimes the greatest thing since sliced bread.

It's a well built case. Feels solid and the light is bright. Fits most of my guitars( Schecter Keith Merrow, B.C. Rich Assassin, PRS custom 24, Fender strat, and LTD 350). The only guitar it didn't fit was my B.C. Rich Mockingbird, but I didn't expect it to fit that. Latches are solid and interior is super nice. My only complaint was it had a slight chemical smell when it arrived. I let it air out in a room for a while and it went away. No big deal. Sweetwater is the best as always! Oh, and I did want to mention that there is a switch to turn the light off which is nice if you don't need it. Otherwise it comes on when you open and goes off when you close it.

Ordered this for my ESP and it fits super snug. It feels really high quality and the light is super bright. Its super tough and durable on the outside. If I were looking for hard cases and didnt know about this one, I would find this one again and buy it all over. it's a really well made hard case.
