6-string Acoustic-electric Nylon-string Classical Guitar with Spruce Top, Walnut Back and Sides, Mahogany Neck, and Rosewood Fingerboard - Black

Want a classical guitar that turns heads with its good looks and impressive tone? Sweetwater recommends that you check out the Takamine GC-6CE! This nylon-string classical guitar was designed with the player in mind. Every single design decision was carefully considered to deliver the most comprehensive playing experience possible. Great sound, good tuning, comfortable size for a smaller person

By Laura S from Boston on November 20, 2020 Music Background: beginner

I am a woman, 5'4", who is a relative beginner. I tried a nylon string guitar when I started learning about a year ago, because the strings are more comfortable. Because I bought a relatively inexpensive used guitar, it was impossible to tune, the way the nylon keys turn a string. I've been learning on a taylor GS mini which is a perfect sized guitar for me, but steel strings. I thought I'd spend a little more and try a nylon again and this model was a great choice! Nice looking, beautiful sound, holds the tuning well. I also love the body size which is a bit smaller than standard, maybe a touch bigger than my gs mini. The neck is quite a bit wider, which for me is perfect for now, as I am working on my finger style and note reading and the wider neck helps me to stretch my fingers and work on my thumb position, which at my level, is still something I'm working on. This is a great buy that has a beautiful sound and is fun and easy to play at every level.

Great feel and Great sound!!

By Alex on August 18, 2020 Music Background: Intermediate gutar player

This guitar is a great looking instrument, it has a really nice natural feel and low string action. After receiving the guitar and letting it acclimate to our house, it tuned up really well and sounds great. I have tried it with the BOSS Katana
mini amp and wireless ammoon transmitter/receiver it sounds amazing and you can create so many different types of tones with this combo. I am an intermediate player who plays a mixture of classical/ classic rock/ and flamenco and have been using a Yamaha C-130A for the last 15 years off and on. This guitar projects very well unplugged and sounds just as good in any stlye
I like to play. Every time I see it I just want to play it!
