Perfect
Package was securely wrapped and snug. The guitar was perfectly playable out of the box, and everything was just great.
The guitar itself is warm and mysterious in tone. The build is amazing, and the supplied case is very sturdy. Thank you SweetWater!
Great value for the price
I totally agree with the previous review,by Steven Rife ,I too have played classical guitar for 40 years ,and have had great handmade instruments in the past, and this Yamaha GC22c compares very favorably to those, sounds great ,and playablity is superb. For the $$ hard to beat it.

Amazing Guitar
The GC22C is just as nice as I could have expected, Finish is flawless. The cedar has a really nice warm medium brown color to it. Fretboard is beautiful and real ebony, not painted rosewood like you see on some other guitars that try to pass it off as ebony.
Playability on mine was perfect right out of the case with great action. Sound wise the tone is just awesome, The trebles really sing and are not overpowered by the bass notes, All the notes work together making for a well balanced over all sound. I also own the GC12c which is basically the same guitar but with solid mahogany back/sides. Side by side they sound pretty much identical and both have the same beautiful qualities. More a personal preference if you like the look of rosewood vs mahogany.
Over all highly recommended,This guitar will last me for years to come, Makes me happy every time I pick it up!
