Great guitar
This is the fourth Gretsch guitar that I have owned. It plays extremely well and right out of the box. It is beautiful to look at and it sounds amazing. It is not heavy nor does it feel or look cheap. It is exactly what a Gretsch guitar should be, quality and tone that kills.
Suits me!
Home enthusiast here. I play for enjoyment and relaxation. I don't have a big budget nor a poser syndrome. This guitar was what I was looking for. I can't put it down!
Beyond my expectations !
I always wanted a Gretsch guitar even when I was younger. Most of the ones I had seen years ago were out of my price range. This guitar wasn't expensive but it sure plays like one. The looks and quality will really surprise you. The V-Stoptail allows me to see more of the body and its Aged Walnut look. It's actually a light but sturdy guitar and the neck plays comfortably. This would be a great guitar for any level player who is interested in a quality instrument. Sweetwater was a great help in deciding on this guitar and I appreciate it. I always use bag cases for my other guitars except this one. After receiving this Gretsch I'm glad I ordered a Gator GWJM335 Semi-Hollow Electrics Deluxe Wood Case.
Don't hesitate
I was looking at the Epiphone 335 and then I stumbled across this one. Bought it and couldn't of been happier. Once I put tens on and got the bridge where I like stellar. The pups are very p90 sounding. Clean with a little jangle. They all handle od and distortion like a champ. Very comfy neck but you are limited to the 15th fret. It's a player and I think it really makes the 335 look not that great.
