Epiphone 1963 Firebird I Electric Guitar - Heather Poly Reviews
Inspired by the Gibson Firebird’s single-pickup variation first launched in 1963, the Epiphone 1963 Firebird I is a rock-ready 6-string that’s sure to set your playing alight with old-school attitude. In classic Firebird fashion, this guitar’s body boasts an incredibly resonant and sustain-packed 9-piece mahogany/walnut neck-through construction, along with lightweight mahogany wings. A fire-breathing Gibson USA-made Firebird pickup in the bridge position delivers a surprisingly versatile array of tones to explore thanks to its seamless cross of humbucking depth and single-coil articulation. And much in the same vein as Gibson’s legendary “Jr.” models of the 1950s and 1960s, the Firebird I’s unbound laurel fingerboard and 1-piece wraparound Lightning Bar bridge harbor a no-nonsense, utilitarian edge for plug-and-play simplicity. Lastly, vintage-correct Kluson banjo-style planetary tuners and a swooping matched and painted headstock (literally) top it all off. Take the Firebird’s most raw and ripping iteration into your own talons with unabashedly vintage-inspired Epiphone 1963 Firebird I!

Home Run Epiphone! Excellent Package!
This is an excellent package. Anyone on the fence or scared away by the price I say just go ahead and get it. You will not be disappointed. This guitar just feels quality. The fit and finish on mine is perfect. The neck is a chunky C which just feels great in your hand. The setup was good to go right out of the box. Mine is the Heather Poly which looks stunning.. much better in person than in photos. This is a big bodied beast of a guitar in all good ways. I play seated most often and this guitar sits comfortably and is easy to get a hold of. The electronics are excellent. The Gibson USA Firebird pickup has great clarity and range. The volume and tone are responsive and definitely add depth. The banjo tuners are historically correct, easy to use and feel solid holding their tune well. The case it comes in is equally impressive. Well made. Beautiful interior. Loads of room. But it's big! The neck is straight. Soft edges. Frets well dressed. No buzzing or dead spots. I've been playing this guitar now for four days since it arrived and I'm not putting it down anytime soon. My new favorite.
