Already a superstar in the playback department, Finale now adds more than 100 new premium sounds to its built-in Garritan library, including the world-class Concert D grand piano from Garritan's acclaimed Personal Orchestra 5.

Finale's new ARIA Player lets you quickly and easily add instruments from the Garritan library and create a realistic soundstage with judicious applications of Finale's superb onboard convolution reverb.

When you're inputting music into transposed staves, Finale's transposed note entry feature plays the transposed pitch upon entry - as well as during playback.

Finale's new ReWire support lets you sync it with your DAW of choice. This is huge. Press play in, say Digital Performer, and have both DP and finale play back in perfect sync.

Finale's improved Human Playback makes your compositions sound like humans are performing them - and this cool feature now responds instantly, the moment you press play.

If the conductor misses a time signature change, it would be bad - which is why tall time signatures are standard for studio scores. Finale has always been able to display them, but they were a bit tricky to set up. Now they're easy.
