Needs a nut to lock it down.
The screw won't stay in place without a nut to tighten up to it. Pretty frustrating to pay $ for a small piece of hardware and I have to drive to a real hardware store to find a locking nut just so it won't continuously loosen against the trem block
Not Good
The locker doesn't stay in place, it consistently unscrews itself. If you are thinking about just an easy screw to lock and unlock, definitely not. I have to take almost all springs off just to turn the thing. Not a good stop!!
Great product with a little help/addition
The idea of this Tremolo Stop Lock is great and the installation very easy to do. However, once installed, the black adjustable threaded bolt will rattle when the tremolo is used - especially when using a short quick vibrato motion. The problem is that the bolt is not a tight fit in its socket. So I thought it might be a simple solution and add some inexpensive "pipe thread seal tape" to the bolt to see what would happen. It worked perfectly. Now I'm very happy to report that it is noise and rattle free and my guitar is much easier to keep in tune.

I had many issues with this guitar and this little device solved all of the weird tuning issues and got rid of the very small amount of play in the bar. Worked perfectly. In addition, an immediate improvement in overall tonality and sustain due to the block touching the trem lock. Noticeable without being plugged in. Turned it into a different guitar!
