I just finished my Warmoth guitar build and the nut that they sent me was a Floyd Rose original made in Germany. When installed it sounded like crap the strings weren't sitting all the way down in the notches and they had the dreaded sitar buzz that so many people have been complaining about lately. So what the heck I figured I'll just try a cheap FR 1000 series nut and see what happens and yes! Problem solved! It sounds great now all the strings ring like a bell. So obviously some of these nuts aren't to spec.
