I'm a complete newbie to guitars at 73. I recently bought a CD60S and needed a case of some sort for it. The hard cases seemed to cost almost as much as the guitar, and then I came across this. A great price for what appeared to be a great case. Sweetwater shipped it to me in no time, and I'm quite impressed. I think it will protect my guitar from all but the worst case scenarios. It's well padded, has adequate storage pouch, and great zippers. If you're looking for a nice bag, I don't think you would go wrong with the FA610.

I am guitar collector with an robust number of guitars. For the price, Fender gig bags are a great value. The zippers hold up over time, the padding is good for personal use, and the rubber bumpers add to safeguarding the instrument. I use the Fender gig bags for guitars with market values under $ For more expensive guitars, I recommend a hard shell case. If you are using you guitar in a gigging band, you may also want a hard shell case. Over the years, I tried other moderately price gig bags, and found Fender to be the best. I use the FA610 for dreadnaught guitars and acoustic archtop guitars with lower bouts of 16" or slightly less. For guitars with 17" lower bouts, I like the Henry Heller gig bags. One of the benefits of the Fender bags are the small amount of space needed to store the guitars. Hard shell cases take a lot more space. I recently purchased 3 Fender FA610's and will continue to purchase more.

i know what you mean....i would never do it myself....i have 3 epiphone les paul's, and i like the gibson
hard cases & bags, but would never do it....i have gator hard cases i bought from sweetwater for each one...

and i have this fender gig bag for my fender acoustic-electric, & it does work great.....5 stars...

putting anything but a fender in there would be like me putting a "ford" sunshade on my tahoe....
sticking to the appropriate brand name is always better....

Gig bags have evolved over the years from flimsy vinyl to this heavy polyester weave. It's solidly padded and the zippers are heavy-duty and appear quite durable. I bought this bag for my Fender Redondo Player and it fits quite snuggly almost as if it were custom made for this particular guitar model. The red embroidered Fender logo really shows off the bag. The side handle is comfortable and sturdy and the back-back style straps make transporting the guitar a breeze. I'd buy this bag again and I'd recommend it to anyone.

The price was right for a bag I was looking for, great fit for my acoustic guitar. Well padded and storage. I would buy again.

Super bang-for-your-buck gig bag.

Bought this to carry my vintage Yamaha FG-300 red label on my bike. The guitar has a large body! I wasn't sure it would fit but was happy to learn it did. Seems very well made for such a low cost gig bag. Padding is only 10mm vs the much more expensive bags using 20mm padding. There is no support for the neck but I use a bath towel and it works well. Material is very tough and durable vs the nylon the cheaper bags use. The outside pocket is on the smaller side. My clipboard won't fit but the sheets of music alone will. Zipper is great as is the back pack straps. I really appreciate the heavy rubber on the contact areas. Very pleased with this purchase!

I bought for my son to transfer his guitar back and forth to guitar lessons. It fits his Fender acoustic guitar perfectly. The backpack feature is nice too. There are some pockets for accessories. This was a great purchase!

This Fender gig bag is a great product for a good price. I bought it as a Christmas present for a friend. Fits like a glove with nice padding.

This is the best gig bag on the market for my Fender acoustic guitars! Great product at a great price! My go-to for acoustics!

I bought this for an Epiphone hummingbird dreadnought because similarly priced Epiphone bags were not in stock. Its a little tight but it fits. The straps and zippers seem to be of decent quality. There is pretty good padding so I don't worry about it in the car. For more expensive acoustics a hard case should be used (obviously) but I think it is adequate for inexpensive instruments.

I have found that when it says Fender acoustic on the out side it is a great way of concealing a more expensive guitar on the inside. Besides the quality of the case is great for those short trips to Jams or practice sessions offering protection as most high quality guitar bags. So for the money, I would get this bag for any Dreadnought guitar. heavy zippers and plenty of Pocket room for your guitar swag.

For the one it's a great bag. Padded extremely well, hugs the guitar and the storage is plentiful. I also love the extra "Fender" on the zipper closures as well as the front. I would buy this bag again

I don't own a Fender acoustic but I love the gig travel bag...but kinda feel (with that big/bold beautiful embroidered logo) on the front, that I'm misrepresenting what's truly inside.

Am I alone here?
