The Electro-Voice Evolve 50 packs light weight, a low-profile design, and top-shelf sound into a portable PA system. Lightweight Power
I recently purchased 2 of these in black for our 5-piece rock band and they're IMPRESSIVE!!! I rehearsal we have eliminated the need for any monitors, with live vocal mics approximately 6 ft away in some cases with no feedback issues. These two speakers are handling everything as we all run through the mixer including the Roland E-drums. We are nowhere near pushing these speakers and we are certainly not quiet. The components are surprisingly lightweight and setup is a breeze. The Bose 812 system was out of my price range, but from what I've heard by comparison we have made the right choice with the Evolve-50. They go to 11!!! I just wouldn't want to be near them when they do!
