This is my first Wampler pedal as I've been having a love of J Rockett pedals as well as Origin Effects pedals for awhile and wanted to check out something similar for what I was after sound wise. This pedal is awesome! It has a great sound and is very well thought out, the three way switch works very well and the bass knob interacts extremely well with the tone knob, built well, and exceeded my expectations considerably. I Highly recommend this pedal and yes, it's got the dumblesque thing going on very nicely!! Thank You Brian Wampler for superb work! And Jared Kalish at Sweetwater for always dealing a straight hand!! Once again , Five Star Service! Top notch Pedal!

Perfect! I love this pedal! I play blues and this pedal is perfect. I am running it between a Princeton and a Strat and the sound is heaven. I don't try to sound like other players, just want my own sound and this pedal provides that in spades. Don't get me wrong, with it I can do the Vaughan or the Shepherd sound and also an edgy Bonamassa but...it allows me to sound how I want to sound. I particularly like the way I can change the crunch with the guitar volume knob (it is extremely touch responsive as well).
This is (for me) the perfect OD pedal.

I bought this to be an alternate overdrive to my Tumnus. I had high hopes for the Dumble-ness of it. For me, this pedal disappoints with the 4 recommended settings and everything else I have tried. I play USA strats and tells through a Fender Deluxe Reverb. This one is a big swing and a miss for me.

If you are looking for that "Dumble" sound, this is the pedal you want. It has a lush, thick sound. I absolutely love the way this pedal sounds.

This OD is very versatile , I can go from a Dumblesque Robben Ford sound to a Holdsworth singing solo sound ,it depends on the guitar & amp combination I use with it, try it you will like it.

No matter where I put it in my chain, it gives me WAY too much bass, even with the bass at 0. It likes to go last but has a structure more oriented to going first, but if you put it first it garbles up the low end and doesn't add any sweetness to the tone at all. If you put it last, it does better but I find it hard to place. I think this is a sort of alternative to the Pantheon, if you don't like the Pantheon, try this. Really needs some warmer settings and the ability to roll off some bass on a switch or something. Also, going SMT on a pedal with enough room to go through hole is a joke. "Made in the USA" means almost nothing when its SMT. I wish that upset more people. SMT tech is what allowed the Chinese market to sell 30-40 clones that were edging out the real things. American builders adopting that technology while continuing to sell their machine made pedals for $+ is a total insult to anyone into boutique pedals.

This thing sounds really good! My third Wampler overdrive. Got the Tumnus Deluxe, Pantheon, then this. I prefer the Smooth or Open settings, Bass on Min, Gain and Tone about (10-11) O clock. Also stacks well with Tumnus in front to push the mids a bit, or with my Keeley Comp after for a tad more sustain. This is a keeper. Thanks to Nolan at Sweetwater for answering the multitude of questions I have had, and giving me a bit of the bigger picture if what is available.

This is a well-constructed and very versatile pedal. Unlike some you might own or consider, when you dial in your sound on the Euphoria, the controls are immediately responsive. Knobs that actually do something! You can play everything from pushed blues to rock crunch to a simmering grind. That's what I admire most: the versatility and wide range of sounds all in one pedal. Even after the cool demo, I still have a lot to learn about the Euphoria. I have a couple of other high-quality overdrives, and as much as I like them, this one doesn't fail to perform or impress. There are no gimmicks about this armor-plated beauty; it's the real deal. The sales engineers at Sweetwater will answer all of your questions and fix you right up!

This pedal sounds fantastic and is super versatile. This is my third wampler I put on my board. It teams up really nicely with the clarksdale. To be honest I was underwhelmed at first. It took a little bit of tweaking to get her to sing. That's not a bad thing. Each knob is highly interactive with the next so in reality it gives you a wider range in tones depending on what you're looking for. For my playing, a girthy gritty tone is what I like and the euphoria more than delivers. This pedal really blows me away. Couldn't be happier. As always nick Graham is the man.

The sound of this pedal is great, its the sound I have been looking for quite some time. Its increases the high end of your guitar like no other, I actually have to turn the tone knobs down. It works great with other pedals too.

Great for boosts but just doesn't have a smooth distortion sound. Just sounds like you're pushing the amp and it's cracking up a lot. I've had this pedal for about two years now so I feel like I can't honestly say these things. It sounds great with other pedals though and build quality is perfect.

I'm returning it because it was not what I expected. As a pure distortion it worked fine but as a device that would keep it cleaner when picking softer it wasn't working for me. It's just not for me but it could be perfect for you !

I find myself reaching for a thesaurus trying to describe this panel. I fell in love with it immediately! It is definitely a keeper and will remain on my board for quite some time. I haven’t found a bad tone in it yet and it stacks nicely with my other gain pedals. Brian Wampler he is a genius when it comes to overdrive pedal’s....

Its close to switching pickups. Every setting on the drive knob in all three modes is extremely usable. The bass knob helps alot with a cleaner setting. Great for a boost, great OD, not sure about the dumble comparison and really dont care since it sounds so good. Will use it till it falls apart and the way it built dont think thats gonna happen. Run it mostly in the open setting with medium gain and a slight boost, bass around 10 o'clock and just love the sound I get. Will be buying more from Wampler in the future, and always from Sweetwater!

The title says it all. If I could have only one pedal, this would be it. I've had this pedal for a couple years now. LPs, Strats, ESs, Fender, Vox, Randall, etc. - whatever guitar and whatever amp, this pedal is always on. Adds fullness to the tone that you don't know you were missing until you turn it off. So I don't. Almost infinitely adjustable - can go down the rabbit hole if you want to get a whole spectrum of tones, but I pretty much found one I like and leave it there. Sometimes use it with an OCD to put a little more hair on the tone without needing to adjust this pedal. They play well together. Have had several other Wampler pedals and they never disappoint - thoughtful design and solid construction. I agree with the other reviewers who would give this pedal more stars if they could.

Great pedal with clean, smooth, and crunch overdrives that seem to be matched perfectly to every amp. Great service from my salesman and the Sweetwater staff.
Mogami gold interconnects are worth every penny. Louder than most interconnects because they pass more signal.

I love this pedal for singing leads, great sustain & smoothness. Very impressed that Wampler stands by their product. All their products sound superb, and are well-built.

When I bought this pedal, I was playing it through a Marshall SL5. It was OK... not great, not bad. I've recently sold the Marshall and have a Supro and WOW, that's the sound I was hoping for. Smooth mode is singing, sweet, everything it is cracked up to be. But I prefer it in the Open mode, gain low, an always on pedal. Wampler makes some fantastic pedals (I have 4).

I haven't messed with it enough to get the tone I was hoping for, but today after owning it for about a year I finally got a decent tone. It's a little muddy too me needs more mids, but I'm sure you can achieve the sound you want by tweaking it a bit, but I'm wanting something more simple like a TS-9. It's pretty versatile and sounds better with a single coils than with humbuckers to me. I'm a sucker for over drives, I own a lot, but I think I'd rather have spend less than 200 on something simple. I'm sure it's worth the money, but honestly I'm probably going to sell it and get something else. It's just missing an element of the tone I'm always working towards. I would recommend it though to anyone, I'm just on a tone quest that seems to be never ending.

This pedal can take over any role that you need it to. As a clean boost, it's the most transparent I've ever heard. Want a low gain, fat boost to add some juice? It's got that covered too. If you need to rock, turn the gain to 2 o'clock and your amp is cooking. Lastly, throw it into crunch mode and dime the gain and bass. You've got a wooly fuzz face with more clarity than any I've played. It can do anything and be incredibly clear while doing so. I needed a very low gain drive for rhythm parts on my strat (specifically the B/M position) that would still be clear. I couldn't be happier with its ability to do this. As an added bonus, I have it in front of an OCD v3 and when I use it as a solo boost with the same settings, it adds sustain and clarity with only slightly more gain. It's replaced both my OD and solo boost.

I own well over a dozen overdrive pedals, this is the best one for me so far and that includes my King of Tone and the Tim. This pedal hits the sweet spot for me in a way the other don't quite do it. Don't get me wrong, I still love those pedals and use them but the euphoria has just the right amount of hair and chime for me. Also, I didn't like this pedal the first time I played it until I watched Brian's video on it, you have to keep the bass knob low if you're looking for a good rock tone.

It is fairly difficult to get a pedal that works for a Wurlizter EP, at least for my playing style. I don't like loosing the edges of the keyboard, and I don't like loosing the speaking note quality. Most guitar pedals are heavily EQ'd and the sort of clipping somehow doesn't work. This one does, and the three settings have meaningfully different characters. This swapped out a Green Rhino 2, which is also a great pedal, but I prefer this one for the EP 200.

After 20 years of searching, I finally found the pedal I've been looking for. Versatile...Responsive....And Beautiful tones. If you want a pedal to get a smooth crunch, a mid level grind, or a solid Dumble drive this is it.

Very transparent overdrive. By far the best overdrive i have ever used. Just buy it you will not regret it.

Ok, after a couple of years of watching demo videos, listening to samples, and actually trying one out at a local music shop seemingly a long time ago, my expectations of this pedal were about as high as could be (and my pining for this pedal was getting downright embarrassing). But, when it finally arrived at my house, got unboxed, plugged in and fired up, it flew over the "bar of expectation" higher than Dwight Stones' Gold Medal leap in the Olympic high jump competition. There's really no "bad" setting on this thing. No matter where the voicing switch, gain, volume, tone or treble knobs were set, the sound was usable & jaw-dropping. The problem is that I can't really leave it on my pedalboard...I need it next to me about waist-high so I can tweak the knobs between songs. (a "problem" I also have with my Keeley 30ms Double Tracker, but I digress)

Best part was the service I got from Jason Koons & his team. They transcend their jobs as "customer service reps" and really establish a "relationship" that closes in on "friendships". They're beyond knowledgeable of the products and I trust their advice. They're the best!

I've had this pedal over 6 months now. Thought it was pretty good.......until I took it off my board trying to downsize. I didn't realize how great this pedal really is. I will never consider getting rid of it......never.

Wampler makes some great pedals you really cannot miss with buying their products and you certainly cannot miss when you buy from Sweetwater .,and having a friend such as Bart Amburn DOES NOT HURT EITHER, good at getting the product out to you as fast as possible and giving advise is great here thanks Bart i don"t know of any online service as good as Sweetwater and you,thanks again

Very versatile pedal. Very. If I hadn't already had a Sweet Honey OD and an OCD, I might have been floored by this pedal. It can cover a lot of ground.

You have a Volume knob, Gain knob, like others. A tone knob. But it isn 't neutral at noon. It adds highs and presence starting at zero on the knob, post crunch circuits. There is also a Bass knob.THis adds lows, but before the gain stages. This CAN change how the pedal sounds after it hits noon. Its how you can get into fuzz and wooly 60s distortion. There are also a 3 pos dip switch. D for a Dumble sound and feel. It has the most touch response and higher presence. Open position for less gain, more transparent tone, voluime boost, more forward. Crunch for higher gain levels.

It is actually the most transparent of all 4 pedals I have (Plimsoul, OCD, Sweet Honey OD and this). That is, unless you don't want it to be. At low gain levels, you can really hear the clean ch, the amp in the tone. This even at all 3 toggle settings (more to come). Euphoria was also, overall the most touch responsive to pick attack of all 4 pedals. And the OCD and SHOD are no slouches. Euphoria was just a little bit more, without having to dial it in like the SHOD with it's Focus up high. This continued even into some of the highest gain settings, like the SHOD with the focus up. This is an extremely amp-like pedal. Touch sensitive, like an amp at and beyond its break-up point, responds to toll-off the volume and cleans up fantastically.

There is a lot of ground this one pedal can cover. It is the best of the 4 at that blues crunch, OD tones. It can do classic rock, modern rock. Metal, no. With the Bass knb and how it is pre-gain and the 3 pos switch, this pedal can sound like more than one pedal. In fact, it covers all the ground the SHOD and OCD does, and them some. Won't get as high gain as the Plimsoul.

But, that is also it's downside in a way. It is the most versatile in range, but it is also the 'highest maintenance'. That versatility means you have to slightly tweak it for different amps. What I had set for the Marshall, did not sound as good as on the Rivera/Fender. Not until I tweaked it a little on the Highs/presence, and a little more bass. OCD was much more of a forget it and use pedal. Plimsoul even more so, as you set it for type and amount of gain, and was just as good on either amp. SHOD was the same in this regard. That Bass setting has a major effect. So, you have to be careful. It is easy to make the pedal muffled and muddied in a heartbeat with this knob.

Overall, this is one fine pedal.

Articulate overdrive, and when you lower the volume on the guitar it cleans up real nice. It also has a nice 'touch' to it ... excellent for Jazz/Blues, Blues or Fusion. Wampler rocks!

It's every bit as good as other reviews say it is and video demos make it seem. Very good balance of simplicity and versatility. It works extremely well with other overdrives. I have a JHS Morning Glory and a Mad Professor Sweet Honey. These both sound good by themselves, but when stacked, they're thin. I wanted something that would enhance them when added, and this pedal is definitely it! The tone and bass knobs make it possible to match just about any set up, along with the three modes. It's deliciously transparent, and cleans up very nice with rolling back the volume or picking lighter. Just an amazing pedal that is very hard to complain about!

It's the closest thing I've heard to a Dumble sound through my tube amp. It's super transparent, super responsive and super organic. It cleans up when you roll the volume down and breaks up when you roll the volume up. It covers it all. It's a great overdrive pedal and you can crank up the gain to get a great distortion sound. If it broke today I'd buy another one tomorrow.

This is my second Wampler pedal. I have owned the "Sovereign" distortion pedal for about a year and it is a quality pedal in every respect. I wanted to invest in a good overdrive pedal and after several weeks of reading reviews and watching/listening to mp3's and You Tube videos featuring many brands and models I decided on the Wampler Euphoria. So much flexability it's like having 3 great overdrives in 1. Both the Euphoria and the Sovereign are responsive to touch and the volume control of my guitars. I am so glad I chose the Euphoria. Dropping $200 bucks on a pedal is not a decision to take lightly. I run it through my Egnater Rebel 30 or my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and the tones I am able to get are fantastic. I play 2 American Deluxe Fenders, a Tele and a Strat. I also play it through 2 Gibson Les Pauls, a 60's tribute studio, equipped with P 90's and the other a Standard with humbuckers. This pedal sounds great through any guitar/amp combination. Wampler pedals are designed to sound good alone or with other pedals. I can "tone stack" with either of my Wamplers and my Boss Blues Driver or my Big Muff for even more tonal bliss. I have been playing for over 30 years, I play rock and blues and this pedal, as well as the Sovereign are as good as it gets. I no longer gig but I am in my home studio recording original tunes every weekend. You can spend 90 to $150 on several pedals and still not get the quality and variety of tones that the Euphoria delivers and you can take that to the bank!

This is a great distortion box, I think it leans a little more to distortion than to OD, but that's ok because the pick ups on the guitar think it's hitting a tube amp and not a dirt box, so you can get all that volume knob goodness. Not a lot of pedals react this way in my experience. It's super flexible, kind of like a higher gain Fulltone Full Drive 2. It sounds a little fuller than the Fulltone to my ears as well. With the bass and gain cranked, it gets a little fuzzy, especially on the "smooth" setting, but in a really pleasant way. Seems to like humbuckers and single coils equally, but my Strat with Lollars was MAGIC on all settings of the pedal. Les Pauls with buckers or P90s sounded great as well. Worked equally well thru amps with 6V6s or EL-84s.

Great sounding od/dist pedal. Very versatile. it will take time to get a handle on all the tone-shaping features. Not as transparent as the paisley, but huge sounding. Well made.

I've owned over 70 overdrive pedals. I'd rate this the 2nd best I've ever used. It offers everything from clean warmth to distortion really. It has 3 different modes making it very versatile. You can dig in to rock, pick notes and actually hear them defined (Something very few over drives do well if at all) You can purchase this with no worry of regret in my opinion. It's magic plugging into most all Wampler pedals, and this one is no exception. A lot of pedals give you a basic sound, but few are actually inspirational in tone. This is one you wont be disappointing with.
