I bought a pair of Eris 8 Studio monitors as part of my home recording setup, which I am working on. These monitors blow me away in terms of their sound. I am very happy with my purchase of them. They are easy to adjust to the size of the room I am working on recording in at my home.

I've had these monitors for over 4 years now and they have held up beautifully. I've never had any issues with them and have had them either on dedicated speaker stands or on acoustic foam on my desk. They are clear, precise, and flat enough to get a proper mix (especially for the price). I wouldn't listen to the other review complaining about the craftsmanship on these. I've had these for a very long time now and they are in pristine conditions. If you take care of them, they will last you.

Now, are there better monitors out there? Of course! But none of them are in this price point! Now, if you have the money to spend on nicer monitors, go for it! However, if money is an issue, go for these! And if you still have money left over, combine these monitors with the subwoofer.

You will enjoy these monitors.

I love Presonus gear, I feel that they make some of the best studio products available, and at Great prices.This is my second pair of the ES 8s, they perform well in my studio with a well balanced sound that makes mixes consistent!

I haven't heard sound through studio monitors since I worked in the studio 40 years ago. I'd been working with cheap Logitech 5.1 computer audio. What a nice change. I am quite happy with them

These speakers are really good. I had to make more room for them and tone them down as I have a small studio. Once done; I am so looking forward to hearing my new recordings through these kicking speakers. The bottom is no joke. Very nice.

Not long after purchasing these monitors, the laminate covering on one of the speakers began to peel off. After submitting a ticket to PreSonus, they stated that it's simply an "aesthetics" issue and would not replace or repair it since it "doesn't affect its performance".

While technically true, it shouldn't be having this issue since it is also technically brand new. If the item is already suffering from poor craftsmanship flaws "aesthetically", I hate to see what problems lie inside the box. I'm sure they'll find a way to dodge that warranty claim as well.

There are better, more reputable brands that take their customers, their craftsmanship and their brand reputation seriously. I've never had an issue having and item replaced or repaired through any other vendor.

Choose another brand, I regret taking a risk with PreSonus, their products are "aesthetically" bottom of the barrel in craftsmanship and quality according to them, at least that's what they're implying here.
