Elite deep contour
I have an older Celebrity that I really like playing but was always a bit disappointed because the acoustic ability of the instrument. The plugged in sound was always great. Now with the deep back on this Pro Elite I have the best of both worlds. It really projects a great acoustic sound as well as being super plugged in.
Great Sounding Guitar, very playable
I recently purchased this guitar from Sweetwater. The other guitars I own are a Taylor T5S1, Taylor 710, Fender Strat and Jazz Bass. I changed the strings because I like Elixir strings, the guitar out of the box with a string change is playable, the neck is fast and sounds great. I know it's and Ovation and many snub their noses at them but if you haven't picked one up and played it or plugged it in and played it you don't know what your missing. Had one years ago sounded great but the rounded back made it difficult to hold and play for any length of time. They have solved that problem with the contoured back. It play and have played in a worship band for years. The ovation will definitely be one of the guitars that I use in that venue and at bluegrass jams (I know I'll get grief from the purists there that think a Martin D28 is all you can use.)

Matt hooked me up, great sound, easy on the fingers, great electronics for that electric sound, plus the contoured back makes it sit in your lap without that slide the round backs have... Thank you Mat, you're the man!
