Worth the extra $
I ordered a Taylor T5Z from Sweetwater and received it on NYE 2016. It came with these Elixirs on it (electric mediums nanoweb). I have put 19 live performance hours on these strings during the month of January and they are still holding up and sounding good. They feel very nice too, smooth and no squeaking when sliding my fingers along the fret board. They are more expensive than many brands yes, but I think it's worth it. I used to change my strings no matter what after 3-4 hours of performance time. These have 19 hours of gigging on them and that doesn't count the several hours of practice I put on them when I first received the Taylor on NYE. I probably played for 6 to 8 hours on these strings before I even went to the first gig. I've been taking a backup guitar with me to shows because I've decided to use these strings until one breaks and then I'll have an idea of the cut off for hours of use before changing them. I highly recommend these. I've since ordered several packs from Sweetwater to have on standby. Lastly, Marcos and the Sweetwater team really set the customer service bar out of reach for competitors. I can't say enough good things about dealing with Sweetwater! The candy bag is a nice touch with orders too : ) I always send them to school with my youngest son!
great tone as feel
A little pricely but the tone and the feel are incredible, I notice more sustain and clearness, I will not change to other string brand for a while

Simply the best strings on the market.
Long Lasting
These cost more than most other strings but last a long, long time. I hate changing strings so I love these because they last at least 3 times longer than anything else I've tried. Since they last 3x longer, they're really not that much more expensive than cheap strings.

My first time using elixirs and they are great they ring true and they actually feel lubricated they are so smooth.
I purchased a Taylor T5z it came with 11s lm adjusting I might try 10s but I normally use 9s no need to go that low
