Great Plug Ins
Hi - I have been using these for about a month now. The install was seamless and the learning curve is not very steep at all - so easy (or is that EZ) to get up and running quickly.
Although there are a lot of built in rhythms/grooves etc, I have been using it mainly to transfer Drum parts and Bass lines that I have written in Guitar Pro across. Some of the Strummed Guitar parts work pretty well with the EXKeys Piano as well.
There are a couple of tricks here, and as I am a novice MIDI user, maybe there is a work around I do not know. Anyway - In Guitar Pro, if writing a drum part, just avoid the kick on the bottom line of the stave, as well as the highest Tom - These get translated as some type of cymbal. Alternatively all you need to do is drag the notes around once and reassign them to a different sound once you get it into your DAW (I am using Cubase).
EXMix is particularly valuable and I am glad that I bought the bundle and got this. HAve fun
